Hello Everyone,
Paul Fitzgerald is looking for 5-6 patrol boats at the Inaugural Lake Elsinore Enduro and Ski Race on April 2nd & 3rd
This is going to be a really great event and I know RD and his Gang will support.
He figures the Enduro will last about 1.5-2 hours. You will be on the inside of the course to assist in
Broken boats, tows, etc. Please PM and I will get you in contact with Paul

Thanks for looking at this and helping if you can

Is this still going to be a 2 day event? Or is it single day race now?

I am, I was , I might?? lol. I talked to the guy for a while, but he was an employee or something? I asked what was expected of us as patrol, and what we could expect from them. Seems we pay our way in and to launch ,etc. I think it was like $10 to launch. He said they would try to feed us (try?). Don't recall a time, no contact names of yet, who to see for radios, ( I assume they are renting radios). We should have a tow rope as sometimes the ropes on the race boats fail. That was about all. In his defense he said he WAS NOT Thee guy to talk too, and I told him I would call back when I decided if I was going. I was taking my Bayliner wacker bassboat as that makes a great patrol boat. Then I thought "fuck it I've got too much shit to do. Then I told my buddy Sat. and he wants to go and take his Brummett and run some gas through it. (Patrol boat faster than some of the race boats!) So that's my long winded answer to the question. As typical when they're trying to get something off the ground, Doesn't seem to be a lot of definitive answers. Like what time do we need to be there?
Do you know which day would be the best, schedule wise? I don't know when they start, or plan to finish. Right now I'm leaning on going if Steve goes, but I haven't completely committed as things get complicated here! That's all the info I have, do you have anymore?

I think I am going to just show up and go from there. It is $20 to launch at La Laguna and I am going to pack my cooler with food and drinks for the day. Not going to rely on anything to be provided.
