Anyone notice HA in Havasu this weekend? I saw rockers from AZ, CA, and CO. I also saw quite a few on the highway going to and fro.

Roadrunner had signs posted, “No cuts or colors”. I had to explain what this meant to my wife.

I was at Sam's Beachcomber and saw several in there. Also saw uniformed LEO in unmarked SUV in the park. Just checking on things, it appeared.

Saw so many groups of riders this week when coming in and out of the Sedona and Flagstaff area.
Parker and Havasu could be a good break or meeting place for them to gather if they are heading to Washington DC for this ride/run.

The 33rd Annual Run for the Wall is a national event with four different routes starting in different areas of the country, but the final destination is the same for everyone – the Vietnam Memorial Wall. According to the group’s mission statement, Run for the Wall aims to promote healing among all veterans and their families, call for an accounting of all Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action, to honor the memory of those Killed in Action, and to support U.S. military personnel all over the world.

I see them around Cave Creek from time to time. There have been several nights at the Buffalo Chip when there is a group of HA there. I've never seen any issues or heard of any. When I've seen them out, they seem to keep to themselves and do their thing.

I have no clue if what I heard is correct, but heard there was an HA wedding or party in Havasu Heights with about 200-300 people.

Saw a guy wearing his colors in the channel got pulled over by a LHCPD boat, a state patrol boat, and a MCSO boat.

Also had a guy park next to us with a very large swastika tattoo'd on his back. Was time for us to leave at that point.

They have a clubhouse off 24th for the Cave Creek Chapter. They hold a big toy drive there every year. I'd rather have them around than some of the other clubs... They tend to stick to themselves like you said.

There used to be a nice cigar lounge (before they were banned) at the El Gaucho restaurant in Tacoma, a high end steak house. Hells Angels members hung out there, some of them often enough they even had cigar lockers. They were just there to have a nice evening, and were never a problem, but it kinda felt weird to share the space with them.

100%. ff you don't mess with them, they won't mess with you. Now if you're a rival "Club", look out. We've been watching the tv series on Directv. Pretty interesting stuff.

A few years ago I was passed by about 20 HA on the 10 and it was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen on the road. They were riding side by side in a perfectly straight line. Watching all 20 lane change in unison around traffic going 85mph. It was incredible how well they rode together, I’ve never seen anything that structured on the road before.

I see them from time to time at a local bar near me. I've sat next them at the bar, eating dinner, etc.. Never any issues.

I get it but the HA were running a much tighter program… being a dirtbike guy my entire life I was truly amazed how close and in line they were riding. Their handlebars seemed like they were inches away from the guy next to them which was maintained while weaving in and out of traffic.

Did all the toy runs 30 years ago. The HA were a big part of it and never saw any run ins with them.

Years ago I was at a bar and about 30 Outlaws came in to cool off. 29 of them seemed like decent dudes just there to have a couple of beers, but one of them was just an ass trying to start shit with everyone. He just so happened to be the smallest one of them by far. Go figure...

Doing the poker run Saturday saw lhpd fuckin with them all day, although I have had one angle that stepped over the line with the wife at bashfull bandit tucson, and the brothers took care of that in seconds! Not a member but if they feel your worth it, not even members get a pass. Let's put it this way, if my old lady was stuck on a hwy, I completely trust these men!

About 32 years ago when living in Sacramento we road over to Vallejo to an easy rider bike and tattoo show. I rode my fat boy and my buddy from work who also had a Harley said hey " lets ride over with my brother" his brother was a pledge for the HA so when we got there we quickly got into a group with a bunch of HA from Oakland. They were cool with us but I didn't feel too cozy in their circle. Many of them seemed to have done time and with other MC's there I was fine with just riding on and enjoying the day.

There were a bunch of them at Brewery X in Anahiem back in January for my son's birthday. They seemed to be pretty chill

So why do they join such a club? What do they get out of it with all the bad stigma that comes along with it?
Up to that person what they are after. I know a couple of them pretty well, both are very successful people. My mom’s cousin was a member for 30+ yrs. I’ll never forget his funeral..and I was just a kid. Truly a brotherhood among those men.

This thread made me look up the casino video again. I'm not sure the accuracy of this info but it has info I never heard

I was there hosting a huge party and guests at my house in BHC as I normally would. The tension was very heavy during the run for sure. Lots of nerves being tested the entire time. This was always a fun get together and all patches were welcome and for the most part kept their cool. Not that weekend.

I happened to take 4-5 good looking women to the night club in the Nugget. There was a line to get in and while we waited I knew the Mongols were in there but not worried about it. Some drunk guy walked to the front of the line and somehow he managed to talk his way in. About 15 minutes later he came stumbling out covered in blood as we were still in line he passed us.....followed by the Mongols. I figured he bumped into one and started talking shit so they fucked him up and followed him out.

Me being selfish my comment was "Cool....we should be going in shortly" to the girls.....lol We did and went in and had a great time. Getting drunk and partying. The girls never ventured to far so we kept it all nice and tight.

As we left thats when all the shit happened at Harrahs.....Talked about tension....holy fuck. Getting over the bridge into BHC was quite the ordeal as Police were there with full riot gear and weapons. They were concerned about the injuried that were taking to the hospital in BHC and other competing members going over and completing the job. They even were monitoring anybody via boat heading accross the river.

Wild as fuck but honestly not surprised based on the tension that year.

After that the cities squashed the run and ruined it. It was a fun time while it lasted for sure but never close to the same after that.

It had far reaching consequences as other runs started over reacting to what had happened in Laughlin.

The people that used to come out to my house and party up to that run had great memories that will last a lifetime.....me included

Been next to some at a bar and never felt intimidated or awkward. IMO it’s a mind your own business they mind their own.

But if you wanna test Darwin you’ll find out how quick you regret it.

Last time I was near bikers was large group of mongols at a gas station. Minutes before they all flew by me on fwy. I had to stop at gas station to get a drink they were all there. Again no issues or felt weird

They used to have a trailer setup time to time in the parking lot of Outlaw Annie's or whatever the place is called this week. I pulled in on the RZR once and chatted with them. They were pretty friendly.

Have a couple friends that are or were HA you’d never know.
If you like true crime reading about biker culture read “ Under and Alone”.
