Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I had to change our reservations at the Nautical Inn Timeshare to an earlier week.

Apparently they arrive on Sept. 20 for a long weekend. Some of you may want to partake, me, ummm hell no. I’ve got a beautiful wife that I ain’t sharing. F that.

Don’t swim in the pool and watch where you step lol.

If that's the place with the Turtle Bar I would be content sitting at the periphery of the bar enjoying the show, gotta be some entertainment value in that.

Years ago we would Clorox surfaces before unpacking at the Nautical and that was on a regular week.

Lol, funny story about that. A few years ago I had a buddy who was my of shift partner tell me he was coming into town for the weekend and staying at the nautical...




I knew what that weekend was and why the nautical was having a "special event."


A storm came in from the south and I decided to run by the nautical knowing my buddy was there and was a new boater at the time to see if he was alright...


I found him wrestling to keep his boat off the rocks with his wife and another couple I knew wearing damn near nothing...


His wife saw me a took off in embarrassment...


She still to this day claimed they didn't know, but she doesn't know her husband told me years ago they were into the "lifestyle"

About 10 years ago I stopped at the Turtle bar and was having drinks with my girlfriend . A couple came up to us and the woman was all over my GF and was being extremely friendly . The guy just stood there smiling . We politely excused ourselves after about 10 minutes and left and later talking to some other people learned about the swingers convention . Was a totally weird encounter . And no , they weren’t very good looking .

When I was 16 there was a Saturday night me a few highschool buddies were drinking beers in my dads garage and the house up the street that was having a rager. You could hear the bass thumping throughout the hills. Curious teenagers we headed up the hill to the 7k sqft house and wanted to party with them.

We walk up to the house and the guy at the front door insisted we had to have girls to come in and there was no way 5 dudes be allowed in solo. We were confused and disappointed.

We walked out to the driveway and started talking to a couple smoking out front and they told us it was a swingers party…

With 16 year old imaginations we ran back down to my dads house and called every chick we had in our contacts. We wanted to get in to that party so bad.

Every chick we called bailed and we never made it into the party…. Just continued to drink in the garage listening to their stupid music hoping at least one girl would show up so one of us could go… never happened.

Maybe it was a good thing 😂

Let me preface this by saying I have no problem with that lifestyle. You do you and I'm happy for you.

BUT Damn, it seems like we get approached constantly. At boating events, parties, at the lake, at a rave or where ever people mingle. We even found out our neighbors are swingers. Good people, but damn was that party a shocker. We had to have "that" conversation and were told we are considered vanilla. I'm ok with that.

We end up meeting a couple and as the conversation starts to flow naturally, there seems to be a point that suddenly the couple is describing their sex moves and how x has changed their lives. X being hormone therapy, working out, change of lifestyle or some other life altering event. Being that we are friendly people, we just go along and let them talk, knowing full well and good that we will mot be partaking in any of it. However much like the hooker thread in her it is very entertaining to listen to the stories and the pitch.

In the mean time we will continue to enjoy our little slice of heaven in Buckeye, AZ...lol

We once spent an afternoon at the Nautical pool, drinking and eating not knowing it was "swingers" weekend. We observed some odd behavior but just chalked it up to alcohol, hot sun and hot chicks. But, when we saw some dude finger-fkn a girl sitting at the bar while she chatted up another dude we were kinda shocked but again thinking some yummy drinks have been served.
It wasn't until a day or so later someone told us it was the swingers convention that all the shenanigans we saw made 100% sense.

One other time we crossed paths with the swingers was an evening we decided to get a drink at the Heat Bar on a Wednesday. We seat ourselves at the bar, nobody there but the cute bartender. She hands us our drinks and says we're the first to arrive......🤔🤔, huh? First to arrive?? She says, yeah swingers club night.😲😲😲😲
Chugged our drinks & hightailed it outta there.😂😂

I just got off the phone with the Nautical regarding this swinger “take over.” She said the entire hotel is sold out for this event and they are expecting well over 800 people in attendance. The pool will be closed to general public and open for paid attendees of the event only. She wasn’t sure if the restaurant and the new bar will be for paid attendees as well or open to everyone….she said they are still working out details of that. I told her we were staying at our timeshare that weekend and she said she could give me the link to the promoter of the event to buy wristbands for the “party.” I laughed!! Thinking we might cancel our week. 👀

My Son says ..... If you really have a need for some "Strange" stuff sit on your hand till it goes numb and then whack off ............................. Hate to be so judgmental but I will , I'm a traditionalist and banging someone elses Old Lady or the reverse is abhorrent and unfaithful at the least

Unfaithful? Between 2 willingly consenting adults? Interesting.
I always thought of unfaithful as cheating, as in the spouse not knowing of the others actions?

I suppose there are exceptions but I still have the courage of my convictions and if my wife condoned that activity Id be more worried about her than me 🤷‍♂️

So, the hotel is sold out and over 800 people eating, drinking and tipping well. I think that explains it. Unless you have kids, I wouldn't worry about it.

Of course, and I agree! When we stay at our timeshare at Nautical, we enjoy using the pool and hanging at the bar when we get off the lake. Now, if I have to pay $200 for a wristband to hang at the pool or eat and drink at the bar….😤

Does your timeshare not include use of the pool?

Time to get out the contract... might be a great way to end it?
