I knew you'd like them. They have a ton of functional space.

Yeah i was getting the chaparral ready to leave for the river and got to thinking about the all the lockers, seating and built in coolers and having to go back to skis and coolers bouncing on the floor of a custom 21. F' I dont know.

as luck would have it the the Yam misses going in the river garage door ( height issue) by 5". Got to be a way to solve that with an ibeam header or something to raise the opening height. . Im shoving the 21 chaparral in there for now as i got other stuff to contend to.

you know i was going to suggest yamaha boats but didn't want to get flamed...the useable space and amount of room and the reliability of yamaha...would make it my choice for a a river cruiser, may not be loud or as cool as others, but useable i think it would be a win.

You'd think Yam would market the boat on the trailer to a 6 10 height to fit 7' doors. Damn thing is 7'5" on the trailer my door is 6'6". :rolleyes. Just another hurdle to overcome.

I know. I actually found 2, 210's both in parker and both good condition and tall on price. I forgot they have belly tanks and zero ski locker holds. So unless you are just hot rodding around there isn't much place for anything in the boat except the on top of the floor. :cool

I think the Ultra or caliber 1 might be the ticket. Ive been to busy with the new river house to give boat shopping priority but that should change in a couple weeks. For now the Chaparral made it under the garage door opening by .000000000000000001 of an inch. :D

The good news is that you have a boat that gets the job done, so I'd hold out for what you're looking for, I'm sure something will turn up. Hallett also made a 20' SS that had side tanks. It's a pretty nice boat and one might turn up with a jet at some point. I'm sure with pokey on it, you will find something soon enough.

I have ALWAYS been a huge fan of the Eliminator sport cruiser from the end of the 70's all the way up through the end of the 80's....they are fairly easy to find, make great project boats, or a lot of them have already been redone and are in great shape..there was a v-drive out there a while ago.....but I have not been back on that page...but go take a look, they are great boats, nad have a real nice look to them not only on the trailer, but on the water also....best in your search brother....

If I had not just bought a new boat last week, I might be a player for one of these.......next year, if something like this comes up, I might just swing the bat for it...this is a nice clean boat, and it is a jet...

There is also a solid red one, same hull...with a 454 v-drive...not sure if you like that...so I did not post it up...12,000...nice boat...let me know...I'll post it for you...when I was a kid back in the stone ages, this is the boat we had running the river out of Macantires landing south of Blythe....never had a problem with it...just a great boat.

I'm really trying to stay with a newer boat 2003+ with low hours and taller freeboard than the old jets.

PM Throttle. He has a Cobra and worked at the LA boat shows for them for several years.

Sale fell through after agreeing to everything he wanted, price, time place etc. :skull

Never try to buy a boat from a guy still in love with his boat.

Lol, thats the one I posted too, nice boat!

2Driver, are you seeing these???????????????????????????;)

Yes just saw them and appreciate you guys keeping an eye out. Not really thinking deck boat right now and may have to ditch the Hallet idea as the belly tank taks up all floor storage for skis. That guy is starting to come in with pricing. Ultra stealth would be nicest or a 21. Eagle

2D,maybe you should just step up and build a new one.:eekHave you called Bob at Shockwave and priced a new jet boat? I bet he'd work with you.I know he's going to give a better price than Hallett on a new one.
Or you could just bite the bullett and come down to Irwindale and we build you a new 210:thumbsupSomething to be said for designing your own gel, interior colors/options etc. Not to mention a warranty;)

Yeah just a open bow though. Im too cheap to buy new, Ive had 11 boats in my life and I am up about $5,000 after you account for them all coming and going.

Shit you were in the biz.

I made $5K on the Spectra after 3 years, $5K on the Tritoon and $2,500 on the old Carrera.

I'm happy breaking even or losing a few but to toss $10-$20K+ away aint happening. Boats can be a wealth prevention program but don't have to be. :D

2Driver, that 210 jet down at Hallett is available. Just talked to Jim down there. You better go grab it before I do.. :cool

Thanks and appreciate the heads up. $22K is a solid deal.

Funny they said they would call the second it fell out of financing. :rolleyes After taking with Jerry at more length he pretty much said the only place to put skis or equipment in the boat was on the front seats or bounce them on the floor. We ski and knee board a lot and after all the considering and looking we've decided to stick to something with at least floor locker ie Ultra stealth eliminator eagle. Probably good I didn't rush to the 1st Hallet 2 months ago.

Cool, Jerry has been out of the office, maybe that's why you didn't hear back. My 21' Stealth/502 was a nice boat, I actually miss it. The 210 Eagle is a nice little boat but I have heard they work better with a stern drive.
Have fun!
