Don't think unless you are going out and around Lake Alamo; you will need to get on 95 to cross Bill Williams....there are trails to get you south where the graded lots are along 95....then get on 95 there and cross the river from there and just stay on 95 to river island market... see lots of sxs on that stretch.

Is this a route you could do in a Jeep or a lot of single track / UTV?
Jeep is fine.... I run that in my Buggy..in Fact i'm trying to make the Run Saturday if my Posse can get their shit together.
You could do it in a jeep, its beat up north of Planet Ranch and the closer you get to parker. It will take a lot longer.

Let’s say it’s raining. How does that trail look? Can you make it through the washes?

This is the one that I have done a couple times. You can cross the Bill Williams at planet ranch. It's 65 miles, they will need to leave early and get gas.

Yup, this is the one. Leave at least by 8am to make it back by dark. Trust me on this one. It's an all day ride. You'll need fuel in parker. If you leave late you'll be running the 95 home to beat daylight.

OK - couple of other questions. The file linked does not open in my leadNAV app. Does anyone have a GPX ? Or recommend how to import. I have heard Onx is a good app for tablets and phones. What else to you guys use? I get this is a long run. Is it similar in trail level as taking the back way from the River Mart? Is it super technical and a grind or a lot of rutted out washes? I would be going with a group of 4 jeeps in a couple of weeks. Looking for something like this? Also someone mentioned Havasu to the Cattail old graded lots near Bill Williams. Does anyone have a good route they can share?

Also while I am at it what about Alamo Lake run - Anyone do this. I see people running it from the plane (I get there much quicker). Would this be a good day trip. Thanks for the responses - I have kind of been out of the off-road loop.

Last weekend was a mud pit in Parker Friday and early Saturday. It was perfect riding Sunday.

This last storm based on the puddles on my cameras was a lot more rain. Still fun. Until Monday when you have to clean everything. Probably washed 100lbs of mud of the RZR200 and the trail of mud my can am left on the road was probably 200lbs.

Send me your email I’ll send you the file

Also you can convert the file using gps babel app. It’s free and works well

Roger - I just downloaded and subscribed to Onx - it appear as to have a lot more trail information than LeadNAV. Appreciate the tips and routes. Thank you.

You can use Gaia GPS and import straight in as a .KMZ using your phone.

I use Gaia via carplay on the OEM nav system in the Jeep. And use a Lowrance in the SxS. Happy with both methods.
File format translations can be done on line with GPS Visualizer or GPSBabel.
You can download a ton of trails from the AZPT site (AZ Peace Trail). Plus there are other sources with tons of trails to take you to Alamo Lake and beyond.

This is what my google earth looks like from planning offroad trips, if anyone wants something in the CA desert or west/north central AZ dez I may have it.

I've got wilderness, Indian Rez, and Military areas all loaded, so its all legit.

A good run Sam is standard wash to Wikieup and back. Lunch in Wikieup and fuel.
Lots of terrain variety. Low desert wide open sandy washes to Joshua forest at 3600’.

BTW Gaia gps is my preference but onx will do. Both better than leadnav for what you are doing

It was perfect in Earp on Wednesday, before Thur/Friday rain.

Great run today. (Thanks for the map gentlemen). The trail is pretty simple and easy to maneuver except for the last stretch into Desert Bar. Gets pretty rocky before the main road.
PS. You definitely need more gas. 😬😳

A 200 mile day is dang good
Might have added 30ish due to fuel miscalculations😂. That trail is outstanding. Wide open, some canyons, mostly fast.. The whole group was excited to do it again.

Sounds like the ride up to golden Valley that I did with @Bpracing1127 and his gang. Maybe you’d be interested in doing it again some time and drag me along. 👍
