Havasu Storage? Cant find a unit, maybe yours will be available soon?

Hi all. Does anyone on here have a heads up on any storage coming available in Havasu? Or maybe you are going to pull your boat out soon and yours will be available? I can squeeze into a 30ft if I have too. I have never had this issue before. Thanks.

Try Lake Havasu RV storage up by Lowes. I am pulling my boat out of that complex in April (purchased a storage unit). So they might have an opening May 1, unless they have a wait list.

It took me hours to find storage a few weeks ago. Try Countryshire Storage and Penthouse Storage. Both close to Windsor launch ramp

Talk to Paul65k. He found me a unit (average cost is 1k per foot in length). I needed 45' so I was limited but a few 35 units were up for sale.

What worries me about that place is the location and security. I have heard of 3 or so boats being stolen or stripped. They cut thru the units. Crazy:grumble:

I have a friend who builds and owns them. The guy is downright loaded $$

He says 7 years and he's into positive cash flow. That's from buying the land to the point he's completely debt free.

Then he leases back to himself as he has his own real estate company. Taking cash out of one pocket and putting into the other.

Sucked it up years ago and lived like shit for a few years till he started hitting the positive side on his initial investment. He owns like 30 of them now and built hundreds.

Another good friend got into car washes. The kind that are coin operated do-it-yourself type. He spends his days counting how many cars travel a particular street and if there are both right turn and left turn capabilities into the property. If it all makes sense he builds a car wash, most in absolute shit holes. He's doing just fine these days $$.

I don't know how much of this shit is blue sky but neither one is struggling from what I can tell.

Keep calling around. It seems right place right time. Mine is 30 feet but still those are hard too. I got it because I called and someone just moved out. They hadn't even power washed the unit and inspected yet.

I think waiting lists aren't a guarantee. Seems that if you call at the right time then they give it to the caller since you are on the phone ready to go.

I know in 04 when I got a unit up in Needles at Spikes I was shown a 30 but asked about a 40 so I could put my ski I had at the time in there too. She said someone was on the list and about two seconds later decided it was mine and took us in the golf cart to that one instead. I was on property with money in hand ready to go.

Lakefront is the one I got into. Very nice facility.

I'd hookup with Shadow of that date works for you and maybe call Ron the owner in advance and just see if you can take the spot. Ron is a very cool guy.

Best thing I did was have Paul find me a stall. So much nicer owning then renting. I purchased a 45' at the Empire complex. Empire is a very clean complex (bathrooms and showers are great).

I believe the smaller units, such as this, are not as popular so that may be why the price is lower?
