Ok, so after spending the better part of an hour reading past Solar threads, I am still not sure which of the companies doing Solar in Havasu I should go with. Essay and Havasu Solar seem to be the front runners - unless Palomar wants to send a crew out 😜

Quick answers anyone? I’m still penciling out what would work and I’d the tax credits are still available.

I know every case is different but I wonder what the break even point would be?

Havasu solar and Mohave Solar are both very top notch installers and fair on pricing.

I actually just talked to Randy (owner) from Havasu Solar yesterday. @LHC30 you should get several quotes. There are a couple of outfits that send crews up here from Phx But their pricing is not exactly in line with what it should be

I used Mohave Solar and I am very happy with their work and they were also right on schedule with what they had promised

thanks everyone, just finished looking at last two years usage. Keep in mind these numbers will go up if I have solar as I am only running the pool pump in off-peak billing and short by 4hrs/day to do that. I am also not running my garage AC's as much as I'd like. so, our current last 12 month numbers are 24,200 KwH with monthly demand avg of 8.5....

with the fed 22% tax credit and the $1K from AZ, if I get a decent cash deal, what size/cost system am I looking at. BTW I have a full 24'X 65' garage roof to build on.

Fed tax credit is still at 30% through 2032.

Havasu Solar did our system. Very professional, work went on schedule (something you dont see in Havasu much). Good people and very knowledgeable. Great discount for doing fully paid vs. time payment.

If I could be certain things would stay that low, I wouldn’t be looking. However, with the way this admin is screwing with oil, energy, and now water rights, I doubt we will enjoy these low prices for very long.
