For you toon guys how long would you be comfortable leaving a nice tritoon in the water at a time before pulling it to clean it up? Thinking of buying a slip, we would use the boat a lot more.
Could buy a lift for the slip but I doubt that’s really needed. Even with big twin power it’s still just a toon (the suv of the sports car world). Would you leave it in the water all summer? Only a few weeks at a time? Havasu fresh water, Riviera.

Our two neighbors at the Riviera Marina have their Toons in the water May through October.

The only problem with leaving it in the water is algae & mineral fouling on the tubes, not to mention Quagga mussels taking up residency in the engine(s) passages and on the hull, causing additional drag on an already slow hull design. Now you could raise the engines full tilt and get them out of the water, but there's still water present in the passages, although it would dry out after a few hours in the summer heat. But for the rest of the hull, I would think you'd have to pull it every week or two and pressure wash the critters off. Unless you have mirror polished tubes, the algae, mussels and minerals will more readily adhere to a relatively "rough" surface, like aluminum, than it would to polished fiberglass gel coat.

Our lift for our toon is one of our best purchases. It may just be a toon, but a clean bottom runs so much better. You also don’t have to pay for bottom cleaning monthly, which is what it takes to keep it somewhat clean. I personally would not go back to leaving any boat in the water.

I would honestly put a lift in. No need to worry about what could grow on or in it. But also would be safe from any possible storm.

Sweet setup PlanB!
I just bought a slip on D dock, surprised that there are only a few slips left available. Covered slips are waitlisted.
Please help me remember, are there monthly fees/rent after purchasing? Are you able to rent it out?

That’s Bad Ass !

When did they add the cover?
We moved to the covered slip years ago when it became available. One of the best slips in the marina.
