Saturday we went out on the water all day. You know what this can be like for people that don't do this all the time. They drink and drink and don't realize how hammered they are getting. We picked up 6 people that were friends of a friend and took them out all day. They were great and we had a blast with them. One of them got just trashed. End of the day I took them back to the beach in front of Heat and dropped them off. We all decided to go to Javelina Cantina for dinner. The one that got trashed never made it because he got into it with one of the bouncers at the Bar from Heat as he was walking to dinner. I don't know exactly what happed so I'm not even going to guess. We ended up with the drunk guy getting knocked on his ass and from what we heard from people that were watching he didn't deserve it. 3 cop cars and 6 cops show up. The drunk guy (Johnny) was so out of it he didn't know what he was even doing. Told the cops he wanted to press charges then he wanted them to cuff the bouncer. At one point he wanted his girlfriend to film how bad the cops were treating him, they weren't doing anything wrong. Finally he got mad and told them (6 cops) he was going to shoot them. I have never seen a group of cops more under control than they were. When Johnny made that statement I backed up and waited to see him get slammed to the pavement and go to jail but the cops turned and told us "Your friend is about 2 seconds away from going to jail get him out of here". I could not believe they were going to let him walk away but they did. I know every one gets tired of feeling like they get hassled all the time and we hear all the stories of how bad and shitty they have been so I thought that I would share a story of how they let one go when he should have with out a doubt gone to jail.
Johnny is the one in the green, as he called it, mankini and pink hat. this isn't what he was dressed like when we picked him up. He had these on under his board shorts.
