Took a drive around about 10 this morning industrial was lined up with boats waiting to launch to the 95. There was a line to get onto the island quite a ways up Mcculloch. Looked like quite a few may have been heading south to launch at cattail also. Seemed busier then a holiday weekend.

I cannot blame people for wanting to get out. I'm sure the CA local news will be talking about this later today.

Looks like this guy didn't make it to the lake.

Man that sucks!!
Looks like it tore the nozzle clean off.

No, I don’t blame anyone anymore either.
Not after reading the shit going on in CA.

Last month I was all about everyone staying where they were for a while, be it here there or wherever. I Was called a CA people hater.
Frankly, if I still lived there I would be out here right now as well. (Well, that’s if I hadn’t ate a fucking bullet yet from still being in Kalifornistan...oh wait, cant buy bullets same day there...)

Good for them!! They must realize that if this shit comes back, even if it's not gone all the way, EVERYBODY'S summer will be over before it starts.
Nah, they'll finally think they're safe around late Sept and start partying as the Fall flu season starts😉

I'm not 100%, was just told that they cut it off before site 4 was full or the jet boat lot, and even the the main lot, they're supposedly using a predetermined number.
When today or last weekend? I walked down last weekend to see it. !,2, 3, was filled up. I didn't walk down to 4

There weren’t enough people to put them out I guess. Later in the week they were blocking a few sections in the lot with cones.
If not enough people why block anything.

Okay curiosity got the best of me so I took a drive. It looks like double spacing at Windsor, the jet boat lot is about one third full, and site four is about half full.

I also took a drive out to the Havasu Marina, definitely crowded but not full, but they also have a sign saying ramp closed, so it's obvious someone in charge is trying to regulate the crowds to some degree. Still a lot of people here, not quite a holiday however.

I think I’ll pass, I can only imagine how twitchy and on edge people will be after being cooped up and trapped in their homes, someone might try to take me to the doctagon. 😂
They might be ok after a day on the water

No shit. Come on out and spend your money here. This little town won’t survive a shutdown me don’t thinks.
We will be fine. Only Blondzee's has said she's done. And yes I'm sure a few others might not make it either.

What was fun to watch this AM. People pulling into Campbell's to buy gas and such and nobody would let them back in line.

This morning on the golf coarse we had a lot of SunBirds from California. Young people with smiles having fun at our golf club. Nice to see smiles and people that can really hit the ball. S

Yep, plan b for us. This is the first season with the Havasu place. We‘ve been staying at the Nautical or Heat most trips. Usually have a cove spot or slip at the Marina. In my mind i was going to throw the boat on the charger, grab some drinks and head out. Saw the lines and realized that was a no go. We may give it a shot tomorrow morning. Depends how today goes.

Thank you. Took a few years and too many trips looking to find it. My wife wouldn’t let up on the view. I had a list of must haves, she pretty much only had view on hers. She won. I turn 60 in 7 yrs. Plan is to retire out there and rent the So Cal home. Didn’t know she would pretty much move there immediately..
The market could get interesting out there. If anything for the fact the Riviera project is going to create some moves across Havasu.

What part of town are you at? That view and pool looks awesome. It would be hard to wait in line to launch with that set up.

Thank you. Middle of town, probably a mile from Windsor. Love the pool and view. Would much rather have been on the water. Wife bought binoculars for my birthday. This is pretty much how i spent the day.

If that was a Glastron it would have cleared the fence.
Looks like a Campbell. Bummer.

What is up with the "Jet-bote lot"? Do they just launch from the trailer over the curb, down the beach and into the water all in one motion?

that’s kinda what I’m hoping, can’t believe the prices. Houses in 17 and 18 that were mid 400s to 500 are mid 600s to 700 which is what we want. Hoping to get back to that, buy, rent current havasu which only has a few years left, wait to comeback up, sell high, payoff new

We just went left after Campbells and circled back around to London Bridge rd. Had to wait for about 6 boats in front of us.

That was always my route including Sat. The rangers wouldn't let us do that from either direction. Hopefully that doesn't become permanent.
