Havasu, good night...

Well, after a fun 9-year run, our time in Havasu has come to an end. Kids are almost grown, all of our priorities are changing or have changed and it's time to start traveling to many other new and exciting places around the world.

Special and many thanks to Michele and John that helped sell my house, boat, rhino and furniture along with helping me get things cleaned up. Same to Carey's Heating/AC & Plumbing that helped make sure everything was always serviced, maintained and working properly. Don at Everclear Pools did a tremendous job keeping the pool and equipment at or above standards, could not ask for a better and more reliable provider. Nancy and Steve from Havasu Landscaping also go above and beyond the call of duty, always keeping the palm trees, plants, lights and irrigation system in proper working order and aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Doug and Rochelle at Full Throttle Detail keeping the boat clean & shiny, Chis at Prestige for keeping the boat serviced and running smoothly, Darrell at Robinson Automotive for keeping the truck in top shape, Havasu Pest Control for keeping the home free of bugs, John at Arizona Decorative Concrete for the Cool Deck, Lorne at Havasu Wiring for all the electronics and many others along the way, including the Marinelli family and crew at Havasu Air Center for taking great care of us, the plane and the truck for the (3) years we enjoyed the opportunity and luxury to fly in/out of Havasu.

Still looking forward to visiting from time to time, but will now only be as a guest in someone else's home....

We did the same thing a few years back on the Parker Strip and then after a few years ended up in Havasu.

I can't imagine giving up the lake, good luck in your new family ventures.

Very classy the way you called out all the great people on here that have helped you out over the years. Sounds like Havasu will be losing a good one when you leave but it sounds like it;s not completely out of your blood and maybe I'll get a chance to meet you and tip a cold one at some point in the future:champagne:

We sold our weekend home there last year after having one for almost ten yrs. We miss it ever :grumble:time we go to Havasu. Tried the trailer at crazy horse thing and that was a joke with barely enough power to run one AC.
