We have a system from Bulletproof Systems. It uses Alarm.com so it is easy to use and I have added other Z-Wave products (Water shutoff, recepticles) that run through cellular so if the wifi goes out it I can still control things remotely.

How many cameras did you get?

Ballpark cost including install?

Is there a monthly charge as well?

Look at Ring - you can do Cameras, Alarm, Fire and monitoring - like $100 a year.
And they also support water shutoff.

And the Ring alarm box itself has cellular backup for reporting. Wont show you camera views but at least ring tells you what a going on.

Ya, I have Blink at home. OK for cheap stuff, was wondering what the price difference was for something wired that can't be jammed vs Wifi wireless which
a cheap WiFi jammer can easily disable.

Also, Blink has about a 4-5 minute delay from time cameras are tripped vs when I get the ALERT when I'm in AZ.
Is that typical Alert delay?

Bulletproof at the new house, ADT at the old one. ADT sucks but I've been too lazy to change over.

I have Blink at the office, an alert from the cameras is with a second or two of motion being detected.

The house came with it, so I don't know the original cost. It was built in 2017 and we bought it in 2019. We are on the 'self monitoring' program and I think it is around $300.00 per year and the alerts show up via text and the app. There were 2 cameras permanently installed, but I don't really look at those as we have installed a bunch of Wyze cameras around the place.

Western alarm is what I have. They are good and actually have a office in town and answer the phone when you call.So far easy to deal with and helpful.

I have 5 of Wyze cameras around our place in and outside. They work great, well for about an hour tonight they didn't.... when the power went out.

*** I'm thinking of a battery back up.
