Havasu Deuces on McCulloch today….

Had a great time walking down in town this afternoon looking at all the cars on McCulloch. The weather was great a little chilly for the wife in the shade. But when the sun came out it was great.

The paint on this car was one of the best. When the sun hit it there were so many shades of red.

thank you Don. I was going to post up the weekly event On Thursday. Not sure if there is a date that they formally stop but it does not happen when the days are hot.

When you go to a lot of car shows, eventually you see the same cars over and over, so you get a bit burnt out on the circuit.

Joe Mitchell is the guy behind havasu dueces, he is the guy who used to own that vector "coin toss"


The duece days is a once a year run, Thursday they park on the boulevard, Friday is the garage tour and Saturday is the show and shine competition down at rotary

This copper highboy in the background was one of my favorites. The longer I looked around it the more details I saw, it was really impressive.

Id like to see it with the top up, the decklid behind the seat opens and the doors have windows and weatherstripping in them. Pretty sure it had a heater core and vents under the dash as well

Some of the garages are utterly amazing, I toured them last year. One way up on the hill is a second lot next to the owners home, two story garage with elevator, and a huge parking lot area for guests.

Which shows are you interested in?

Until I sold my last truck (which is pictured) I attended most of Havasu's shows, even took first place in one of them but thats not the reason I attend, just like talking about cars and trucks with folks. You meet some of the coolest people that way
As soon as we figure out the clunking in the rear Ill be driving it, and it will be a little lower lol
