Havasu detailer

I normally detail my boat each year, I’m pretty busy this year lacking the time. Whose does a great job. Previous owner used Reflections and spoke highly, and the boat looked new., but that was a few years ago. Any other good choices, or places to avoid. You can pm me the not so good Details. Are they all about the same prices? I have a conquest and the white areas that face they sky and floor are getting a tad of discoloring; hardly noticeable, but I know and want it white white.

Good idea, thanks. We don't as of now, but I can talk to Chris about it and see if we can incorporate something like that.

I’ve used RPM (Ryan) for five years. He does the Perfect Pair 41’ DCB and does my old toon with the same dedication to getting it done right. Great person and detailer .

I’ve used JESSIE @ Adrenaline for years. I’m a freak on keeping my boat clean but it always blows my mind when it comes back from an annual with him that it’s even nicer than the way I keep it. He does the acid wash and shark hide on our toon as well.

Detail Specialties has take good care of us. Chris actually came down to our boat and worked on it while on its lift in the Marina so I did not have to pull it out of the water. He is also redoing the Ceramic in a couple of months. Very responsive to texts as well if you have any questions.

I have used Adrenaline once and he seemed to do a good job for the standard detail and I am OCD/Anal Retentive, but I was definitely not blown away with the gelcoat finish. Price was upper end compared to what I have paid in the past. However, he was hesitant to tackle some minor color sanding and polish out with some areas where the gel coat had shrunk (orange peel) and blended areas around the capping. I get it that nobody knows exactly how much material there is to begin with but he ended up handling the one area that drove me crazy and talked me out of the rest. Interior and carpet where near perfect to begin with so I couldn't see any difference. Outdrive, prop and trailer were tits. Thanks to all the inmates for the other recommendations in this thread.

Old thread, but what the hell. I want a detail from someone with skin in the game. Not looking for one from a guy that has a crew of tweakers with a bunch of trucks under a business name. I want it from someone that IS the business, that cares about the job. I've had my shit oversprayed by the big name guys while they were doing my neighbors, that isn't the one I'm looking for. Who's the guy? I want someone like John Bravata aka @Mr.Havasu when he owned Attention to Detail.

Personally, I use Detail Specialities. Chris has always done a great job and I am not the easiest customer to deal with, as my expectations are higher than most.

If Chris was booked up and I needed a backup option, then I would hit up Winston Detailing. Been following him on Instagram for a little while and it looks like he does good work.
