Havasu campground mystery

What is supposedly going in next at what used to be Sandpoint? Been years the sites have been graded, tables, power pedestals and trees. The ramp is usable but its also closed.

Money issue? Seems like it would be a great spot on the south end of the lake.

The same group that got the State Park concession for the Riviera also got Cattail Cove/Sand Point, along with Buckskin State Park. With LHC breathing down their necks, they prioritized Riviera and put the project(s) for Sand Point and Buckskin on the back burner.

We camped there for years when I was a kid. It was a great spot.

We used to ski up to Sandpoint from the springs and have breakfast. Food wasn’t good in my opinion but it was something to do.
