Has Anyone Used Propel HPR Diesel

Any of you guys used this HPR diesel - it's supposed to be made with plant and animal oils and fats. It must be okay, I haven't heard of any lawsuits from damaged engines.

I use it. There is a pump in Lakewood on my way home. No issues and my 18 F350 seems to start easier with it in the tank. Maybe a mile per gallon more over Dino diesel

I don’t like to use anything but #2. It’s getting harder to find in SoCal though. Don’t know much about the alternatives or which one is the best.

Use it once out of every 5-6 fill ups. One in Claremont and one in Ontario so it is mainly out of my way to get otherwise I’d always use it. It’s usually a little cheaper. I noticed slightly better mpg but nothing to brag about. I feel like it smells cleaner from the exhaust fumes but not sure if it’s all in my head or not.

I use it all the time simply because its the closest station. I probably have 80,000 to 100,000 miles or more on my truck using this stuff (229,000 total mileage). Zero issues. Can't say I get better mileage but I don't track it and have not done an A to B comparison. The fuel is clearer than diesel and does not produce as much traditional diesel fumes/smell from my observation. Lubricity does not seem to be an issue, running original untouched injectors (2000 Ford 7.3 PSD).

I have no idea if there is any upside or downside to using it vs old school #2.......... if anyone can shed some light on the subject, that would be cool

No it’s 100% renewable.

Like I stated above. I have over 100,000 miles of using the stuff amd zero issues. Not sure what more I need to add.

I have a station with it that I always pass. I’m about 4 tanks into it and so far it’s pretty awesome. I just hope it helps with keeping the EGR and the other junk clean…
