It's not the increase by itself that angers this dummy....an increase is 1/2 the solution (although there are more effective ways of increasing revenue if done with the intent of solving anything).
It is the increase without the other half of the solution being addressed in a positive manner, and for all intent and purpose, the increase does not cover any existing costs, hell, it wont even cover costs that are forthcoming.

It amounts to political pandering and nothing more...outside of payback and special interest.

I can't change how much the government takes from me, so I'm not going to complain about it . I'd say your doing ok DJ, you have WAY more than me and can afford a mortgage regardless of how tight your financial situation may be. Can I borrow 20 bucks again ?

It's called passing on the cost to the consumer, which results in higher costs to the middle class, who can't do a damn thing about it. How are those gas prices treating you? Are you used to them yet? Looked at your grocery bill lately?

Middle class, hard working Americans will continue to get fucked, until you stand up and demand change. The funniest thing to me is that this administration's policies are going to fuck you in the long run and you guys are bent over the table and ready.

Back to taxes. I have no problem raising taxes to pay off our debt. If we had a balanced budget and they actually raised taxes as part of plan to eliminate debt I'd be all for it. It's not going to go away on its own. We are so far from that though, we are raising taxes so we can increase spending and borrow more money.
