It started out great Sunday AM. Got to the lake with Kyle and cruised all around till around 9am when we saw Keith and his crew at the docks. From the vids everything looked and sounded fine

As soon as we get to the no wake buoy in the back I hear a scary sound. At first we thought it may be a Valve then maybe a blown exhaust gasket. My # 6 plug got spit out of the spark plug hole. We got a tow back to the doc. I ran up to the Tahoe and grabbed a new pack of JB Quick. Lubed up an old plug and sat there for a couple of hours. Loaded the boat and visited every freakin parts store with in 10 miles of the lake. They either had the insert or the tool but not both for a 14mm plug. So I decided to just call it a day. On my drive home I stopped at PepBoys and guess what? They had a kit from OMG or sumpthin like that. Got back to the pad around 3:30 Fixed her up and headed back out just in time to see Big Ern holding it down proper with April & Kyle. Day turned out great Burned some fuel and met some cool peps out in front.

Turned out to be a kick a$$ day:champagne::party2:

Nope. This was the 1st one ever. That plug hole was repaired before by another builder. My 1st builder.lol. Not me. No names are required since its all water under the bridge. It was nice to get back out there. This is my stress release. If I don't get my fix I'm a real PITA all week.

Too bad everyone else from my group, except BigErn n his woman April along with Kyle, all left early. I was gettin teased about another breakdown. Just getting back to the lake was uplifting for me. In my Boat. On the water. Singing I'm on a boat:D Tweeking the words of coarse. I'm on my BOAT:D Yea I can really belt one out:party2:

I do both. Obviously you've never done the Sag with us/me. Where were you for the Power tour in Yuma. That was hard core.

The river is nice. But its a drive for me, a few hours.lol. The Sag is 40 at most minutes. I'm within 1 hour to 5 local lakes here in Mesa.

Hardcore is relative to how you run your boat. I guarantee you. I run Hard Core. Wake boats, Monsoons. Bring em, I'm still out there. Hard Core;) Watch some of my other vids. There prolly isn't one where the water is perfect sept the last one with my Ma. All the rest are Rodeo.

Hardcore at the sag. Show me your hard core at the river. Not at the sand bar but running hard. I got plenty of Sand bar pics n vids.:D

This was in Havasu. We ran like this all day long.

Cave's got a point, and a VERY valid one! Sag on the summer weekends FORCED me to learn how to drive my lil boats properly to survive out there at times! Lessons well learned and quickly.

Not a problem with Moo these days, but the new boat, well, once the cables are replaced should work out the same! Gotta be able to till and throttle the thing QUICK and SMOOTH! And I do this all with very shallow 15* or less V -bottoms, not a tunnel or gullwing.

Now that I'm down with that, Yeah, I have no problem no matter HOW rough the water. Still gonna have a good time, just no 70 + MPH runs some days. Last time out with Moo though, full speed runs were no problem. I think Thanksgiving weekend will be a great open water test for her! She loves the river soooo much!

Awe yes. That is drag racing hard core. No argument on this end. Which one was yours? I recognize a few from the boards. Mike D. Bob Fry and a few others. No doubt them fellas run hard core where ever they run em along with all the Jets racers I see in Chandler this month.

I guess we're typing about 2 different worlds. I get where your coming from. If your ever in PHX in the summer months. Let me take you for a ride. Not a drag race:D But a nice little Off road type of ride on water. I've done the river but not like in AH Ha. Farmer John said the racing there was awesome. Same in Needless. Them K n SS boats get some!

Running over a hundred on water for more than a 7 seconds has to be a rush. I'm talking 70 all day long on some rough ass water. I was also speaking of my self and own ride.lol After the Power tour in Yuma I'll be doing more river stuff since its a few hours away. I'll call it the cave river tour of 2010:champagne: Blythe to just south of Big River Is what I haven't seen yet.

JD Don't take this response wrong. I love the river and its lakes. But they are 2 different worlds. Just like Off shore is different to Lake running. I'm sure you know this. We're coming into the smooth water time here in Central AZ. Not quit as fun as the rodeo rides of Summer.

As for Hard Core.lol 3 engine builds this year cause of my right foot. Yea Its Hard core at the Sag. Bring that boat you got in your siggy to the Sag in the monsoon months. :D I'm sure you wont but the offer is there. The Yumans I met this year ponied up. Dale of Yuma Commented on how rough the water was. Shit, to us the water was baby ass smooth.lol.

I'll be on the river this coming Summer. Crack a coldie with ya. I know I can't run with them fast guys In my 21. Si I too will spectate. But I will run my hull as safely fast as I can on the Colorado this summer.:D May even crash the Johnsons river pad:drnkfr:D

I've met some of the coolest people on the river and lakes. Hope your one of them

I'm with you on the lake running Cave:thumbsup 1/4 mile 100MPH
passes are a blast, but running at or near WOT for 20 miles at a time is total excitment. I know how those blue water guys must feel.

There have been several times when I've had to fillup twice in one day

I'm not sure how many miles Big River is from dam to dam but I spent 1200 bux in AV Gas last summer going back and forth as fast as the boat would allow in slight traffic. What a great weekend. Oh that was just Friday. Saturday and Sunday were just as fun.:thumbsup

Outlaw hows it running?

We have a great crowd at our local Saguaro Lake. Running is just part of the fun. The People along with the parties back on Sandy beach are just parts of running hard at the lake.

I guess we all have our favorite boating styles. I love them both. But since I'm just minutes from the Sag, it gets the nod. Plus lots of this :drnkfr and this:boobeyes:
