All my bags are packed
I'm ready to go
I'm standin' here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
But the dawn is breakin'
It's early morn
The taxi's waitin'
He's blowin' his horn
I am leaving on a Jet Plane…….
Ok, enough of the corny stuff. We leave for Australia in the morning. I have this nagging feeling I have forgotten to pack something. But, if I remembered, then I would be forgetting. Lol
We have estimated our doorstep to doorstep travel time to be 28 hours, with a 17.5 hour plane ride. The pic below will give you an idea of what I expect.
Once we arrive, this is what we expect that we will look like in front of The Sydney Opera House…….
I have my Maritime License with me because I have rented a 37’ Axopar to tour all around Sydney Harbor, once we finish our 12 Day, Southern Australia cruise.
We have our private viewing of the NYE Fireworks reserved, and are looking forward to the spectacular show.
So before I bid farewell……… I truly want to wish each and every one of you “Happy Holidays”.
Like many of you, I enjoy RDP. I hold no grudges and I hope some of you will do the same. It’s just fun banter, but at the core…… we are all Americans, with a common interest.
I am sorry in advance that I won’t be feeding you guys continuous boating content for the next month. LOL
I May or may not make sporadic posts. I usually don’t while on vacation, but who knows. If I do, my posts will come while you are sleeping. lol. 15 hour time difference.
Thanks to “Music in my Ears” I have an RDP hat that he gave me, so I will try to get it into some Opera House pics. Just think @RiverDave, had you just sent me a FREE SHIRT, I’d be wearing it in Australia. It’s not too late to make sure I have one in 2025? I’ve earned it! lol
