As of 30 minutes ago it is officially her bday! I met Stacy in my mid 20’s around this time 18-19 years ago. We were just kids having fun meeting each other at the river on the weekends… and then shortly there after she moved down to my neck of the woods and we moved in together which forever changed my life.
We got married, had a child and immediately went, for the most part broke. Our marriage never wavered, and it was with her partnership and support that we were able to build the life we have today. A life that I am very proof of, and one I don’t think I’d have if I was married to someone else.
It has been nearly half my life that I have been with her, and each year I find myself loving her even more than I did before.
While we have an amazing group of friends and people that I can rely on, deep down I know no matter what happens as long as we have each other there is nothing we can’t get through and nothing we can’t accomplish if we set our minds to it together.
She is my team mate, my partner, my soul mate. I am her biggest fan and couldn’t be more proud and blessed to have been lucky enough to meet her at the sandbar on that fateful day.
