A pic of an old grainy photo and not really a flag, but I painted my hydroplane in a flag pattern.
Photo was taken in 1973 at our cabin at LOTO, dad and I were scrubbing the bottom of our Correct Craft Barracuda with a Holman and Moody 302 V8.

Many of you may remember the story behind this pic.
I took maybe 10 years ago when Deb and I were at the memorial.
It was a still shot I took on my actual digital video camera.
What was trippy was that the “Sun angel” (as I call it) was not there when I reviewed all my pics to download onto the computer after the vacation.
I know it seems obvious that it’s lens refraction...but I also believe that’s how these type of phenomenon may manifest themselves.
Either way, it’s one of my most cherished pics.
That memorial is as powerful a place as I’ve ever been on this earth.
