My parents just celebrated 30 years this week and I take the plunge myself on October 6th!

I had three rules before I would get married.

1 - I had to be at least 30
2- I had to know the girl for at least three years before I would ask for her hand
3- I wanted to live together before I asked her to marry

Sticking to those rules weeded out a few along the way

One and done, 30 years on the 24th of this month. Three great kids 23 s, 20 s, 19 d. Oldest (son) is married we love our DIL and her parents are great also, we hang out all the time. And one grandson from our oldest and wife. Grandbabies are the best!
