Funny you bring that story up, something similar just happened to my dads cousin in Parker. Her and her husband were in the open bow of a friends boat when they hit some big waves and it threw her husband onto her leg, breaking her tibula and fibula requiring surgery.

Your dad thought he was in a sea doo and flipped a u turn at speed. Guess gen 1 Nautiques weren’t meant for that.
I flew from the front to the rear slammed into the seat. Thought my back was broke. SOB never checked on me. Must have been my high pitched crying

Meet at Charlies Bar in Erenberg Az 1984 i was staying at Macintire and my wife with friends at Twin Palms and of course we were under 21 and you could drink in Az at 19, 2 weeks later we decided to get married and it was 34 years last June 30th

In a world of "privelaged" people my age, it's hard to find that "one" that wants to work for everything they want and have. Congrats to all of you, I envy you! I still have many years ahead to make that dream though

You will find the one and you will know I met Cindy when we were very young and today still best friends we have always tried to keep it simple and our son is 36 remarried with a great wife our grandsons are have adjusted well.

Deb and I would have been 14 years this November.
We were both 41 when we met.
This was at Diamond Head 14 years ago, got married on the beach with a phone book preacher.

Every day seemed like our first day married, we will always be married.

My first was the high school sweetheart routine. 8 years married, 3 kids. Second was straight up rebound, didn’t last 3 years.

I had been single over 8 years when hurricane Debbie hit, I never saw it coming.
The stark contrast between REAL mutual love, and what passes for what we think is love is astounding.
It can not be described.

First time for both of us. We were married in 1990 so it was 28 years last month. We have one son together who's 23. Like a lot of others have said, she truly is my best friend.

It will be 48 for us in February, met her I walked into a party with a case on beer hey who has a church key, blond is wearing one as a necklace, been together ever since!

I new it would work when she would go skating, surfing, snowboarding with me. All our interests are in line. Other cool fact is her parents habe been married since they were young. Both from Loas. My parents have been together since high school. Very uncommon to meet people with both sets of parents still married.

SO true!! It's so rare to find that these days. Both sets of our parents are still happily married as well [emoji1303] My parents 50th is coming up!

The band my dad was in at the time used to play there frequently. He was the bass player. We lived 1/8 mile from that bar. If a band was playing that night, my dad might have been there when you met your now wife. I used to play shuffleboard, darts, and pool in there as a kid.
