Don't drink as much because the hangovers are worse as you age, but one of my remedies is a little B complex before bed, helps with that shaky feeling the next day.:thumbsup

Since I'm 44 years old I finally took my mom's advice about hangovers she tried to give me in my late teens. If I woke up with a hangover she would ask "What were you drinking". Then the next question was "How many did you have". Then the ole "Well, next time have one less":D I've been doing it long enough to know where I stand, errr, or fall down:D:D

:thumbsup I guess next time I stop at 5.

I'm not old but I can't stand hangovers. Nothing makes a long day feel longer when you can't/won't do shit

I think the Cherry bombs are weaker than christies drinks , only thing I can figure out. I drink her cocktails and I'm headed for a quick nap somewhere, guaranteed :grumble:
So I stick to the cherries and a shot or two maybe a cocktail and I'm good :thumbsup:cool

Except last trip, OD1's wife made me a "Gooding Special" in their big gulp cup and I was pretty buzzed when we got to RR :p:drnkfr

I learned my lesson with her. Nope, never again.

And I have been bouncing back pretty good as of late. Got home around 1 Saturday and alarm went off at 630 and I felt like a million bucks.

Christy makes your drinks all pussy cause she knows you can't hang! :D

Uhhhgggggggg. This is an appropriate topic for me today. Hit it pretty hard this weekend at the river. Didn't even make it home until this morning. The day was hard and I am just now starting to feel better. I literally have not puked at ALL for over 30 years (I'm 50 now and the last time I puked was when I was 20 after drinking in TJ), but the hangovers are definately worse as the years go by......

In my younger days a good cure for a hangover was a bong rip. Bilgie can verify that. :D
It doesn't cure it....you just forget that you're hungover :D

I wouldn't consider Cherry Bombs Sissy !!!! Just have to watch out for Lynch and Bildo and the 2 dozen Fireball shots starting at 10am.....

Drinks with sugar KILL ME... that's why those Fireball hangovers are the absolute worst. I definitely suffer the entire next day and into the night. Now I pound two water bottles before bed (and one every time I have to get up to pee), and I don't feel so bad in the morning. If I'm fuzzy the next morning, two things can get me back on my game -- Rockstar Recovery (it's the caffeine that helps) and several beers.

Waaay back in the day, a long time ago, before I figured out that anything sugary with booze makes me want to die the next morning, I used to get hangovers from the deepest depths of hell. I never wanted to be the pain in the ass who was holding the boat launching process up, so I had a signature move: I used to pull the lever on our trailer toilet, take a huge whiff of the Tom Brown special in the holding tank, proceed to yack my guts out and I would be good to go. Like a champ.:D

It's not the Fireball it's the 2 bottles of Fireball throughout the day that I cant hang with. Whose idea was that anyway ? oh man....

I always welcome a workout partner. You think you can keep up with this Toots?
Shouldn't be a problem, considering what a badass I am :cool

That was on a Sunday before the drive home. Nothing like having to drink yourself sober enough to drive home. Lol

You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning. Or something like that.

I have always had a built in barf mechanish...lol

I can drink my fair share but for some reason certain things always push me off the edge.....too many tequila shots or more than 2 martinis and its pretty much a wrap

I typically don't get hung over but I need to learn that when I'm drinking and I start getting a sour stomach to stop for a couple days. Very hard for me to drink the next couple days once my stomach turns.

Getting old sucks...lok

I found as I got older what works for me is, a drink than a water, a drink, than a water, I can last much longer, and I don't feel half bad the next day. Oh I'am 54 so i have been using this method for year's.

Old school river trick right there. :thumbsup

Man I haven't had a hangover in freakin decades! Some of you kids need to learn how to drink. :rolleyes

You, my dear, are a trooper.

My Dad was an old school V.O. and water guy and he taught me when I was about 18 to stay the fock away from the the sugary drinks.
I listened....mostly. I have experienced enough misery to know he was right.
At my advanced age I have an extreme aversion to hangovers. If I am someplace and have the need to engage in serious drinking it is sippin' Jack on ice or...

V.O. and water
:D
