Just picked up an older Hallett 240...Been wanting one of these for Lake Mead since I was a kid. I can't wait to get it back to the warehouse to let the magic happen...first things first, I'm gonna loose that name!!

Its pretty clean for a '92...New interior and redone floors are going to make this restoration project a little easier. Its got good power with a 'built' 502 Chevy BB...Needs a stereo and a little bit of love on the gel, but she floats and runs great!

Nice find. I like the Hallet 240.

Terrible Spectra was a nice boat also. I think a member bought it, but I have seen anything about it since their first outing.

Those boats suck. The ride is terrible, the hull is worthless....grab a holesaw and be done with it.

I have a holesaw... if you want, you can drop your boat off at my house with the title and I will take care of it for you. :D

Whitey Town is like a costco for thieves...therefore....no prop shall be stored on the boat while in whitey town.

Here's ours. These boats do can it all. Play & ski to marathon ski-race. You'll love it.

Did some updating last year. Pulled the bow rail and filled the bigger holes with mushroom cleats, replaced the windshield super dark and did stainless rub rail.
Yours is a nice color combo. Good find!

Great looking boat, been looking at nice 210 on Craigslist, wishing I had extra cash laying around! What did you end up paying for it?

Nice rides........ :thumbsup Not a fan of those swim steps though. I'd have to change them. I found this one. Kinda dig it. :thumbsup

I prefer the swimstep at water level that you don't need a ladder to get out of the water.

I hate the 240 "low/high/low" swimstep but I do like it on the (lower) sides that are at the water level. Plus, there are radius support bars that are nice handles mounted on the top side of the step. The rear height of the boat and drive height do not compliment a straight swimstep IMO.

So are you going to keep the one on yours or change it out with a flat one?

When we got our 240, I thought my first mod was going to be removing the swimstep, good thing I didnt. I couldnt imagine not having it, we spend so much time hanging out on it. HighVoltage329, I like the exhaust above the swimstep, was that a mod you did or did you get it that way?

We raised the exhaust when we put the twin turbo motor in

We pulled up next to one at the make ready at Pleasant yesterday and those are some nice looking boats. It too was a closed bow. Did they make them a walk through also? I would trade my Warlock for one of those pretty easily I think...

Took the name off the Hallett yesterday, it's shining up nice with a little wet sanding and polishing... ImageUploadedByTapatalk1342048561.208667.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1342048579.124652.jpg

I was thinking the 3 aluminum step plate style would freshen it up but I'm perfectly ok with a 20 year old boat looking it's age....I'm keeping it the way it is for now.
