Hallett 210 Windshield / Windscreen Options

Just picked up a 99 Hallett 210. The windscreen is wrapped in black on the inside to hide the spider webbing. Its not the best job but isn't terrible. I've searched and all the post are old. I got a quote from Primo for $1650 for new . What are the other options if I pull the wrap off. Was thinking Painting would look cleaner. Any experience salvaging these windscreens would be great.

That is Primo where he already received a quote. He has always made the windshields.

When we had our 210 I sucked it up and had and bought new wind screens from Primo when we got tired of the spidering. Eventually sold the old ones to guys that had cracked or broken theirs since ours were in good shape structurally.

I'd you don't want to go that route I would pull the screens and have them fully wrapped in a gloss black.

Jay. O C boat windows. Believe he h as original molds. Got both sides for my Howard, was way less than that.
