A few I keep around the office to help keep the JCM 800 tubes warm.
I had a 4001 I traded for a Guild D50 which I sold. Wish I had never sold or traded any of my guitars. The Ricky was perfect.before switching to a Rickenbacker 4001).
Wow... Now you're talk'n, Awesome guitarGuild Starfire III blonde. My all time favourite acoustic is Taylor by far. You must listen to Doyle Dykes on YT to appreciate Taylor acoustics or Guild Starfires

Since the Martin is getting a lot of love... here’s how it sounds...So many awesome posts. I Liked the SG and the gramps 1949 Martin. The Martin has had some work done to it which it should.
I see a few have their gear hooked up, Lets hear a few licks. Be proud...

That fender is really cool, too! That Gretsch is awesome!
That's really cool, my first electric, was a 64 airline which was Wards, it's the same guitar with a little different body and it was black. I lost track of it.L to R: 2017 Fender T-Bucket, 1981 Hamer Special, and 1964 Silvertone 1413L.
Also below is the original Sears catalog ad for the Silvertone. It was my first guitar and I bought that in 1980-ish for about $10 and considered smashing for kicks a couple of times early on. Fortunately I never got around to smashing it and just stuck it in my parent basement and forgot about it for about 35 years until I re-discovered it last year (remember all those toys you destroyed when you were a kid and wish you still had now...?). Definitely not the awesome 1949 Martin above, but still a pretty cool slice of Americana!

I'm afraid I devalued it. In my younger years I contoured the body and put on a Strat bridge with the strings coming in from behind. I still have the original parts but I think it's too late. That fender is really cool, too!
You might be surprised.I'm afraid I devalued it. In my younger years I contoured the body and put on a Strat bridge with the strings coming in from behind. I still have the original parts but I think it's too late.
Oh I will. Wouldn't sell it anyways, I'm sure someone will inherit it.You might be surprised.
So Many guys build and refurbish gitfiddles these days. Hold on to the parts.
