GT Performance built Twin Turbo 468 BBC: Forged LS7 crank, Carillo rods, JE 8:1 pistons, Crane camshaft, Crane Gold roller rockers, Dart heads, 12 quart polished kick out pan, Gale Banks twin turbo kit featuring ray jay turbos, MSD distributor and coil, two boost referenced Holley 750 carbs, Edelbrock mechanical fuel pump, two regulators. Every single piece of hardware on the motor is polished and every line is stainless braided. Motor comes complete and ready to drop in. The only thing not included in the sale are the front and rear motor plates. All lines and hardware included. Made 925 hp on fuel and is currently setup to make 750 hp on pump gas at 10 lbs of boost. Ran the boat this weekend problem free. The only reason for the sale is to make room for a new blower motor. Motor was just serviced and freshened up my GT Performance. Build cost was over $25k

Yes... Motor is turn key and very impressive. I have always been a blower guy so I am going to put a blown motor in the Hallett

what did you pick the boat up for it looked very clean....I wanted to pull the trigger on that one, and how did it work with a jet in it

I picked it up for what he was asking for it. I bought the boat with the intention of selling the motor. When I actually saw it in person I was extremely impressed with the condition of the boat and the hardware that was used to put it together. Spent the weekend testing the boat and think it rides really well and performs well with a pump. The motor fires right up and runs very well. Should make a nice piece for somebody. I am putting a one off rear driven blower motor in the boat that should be something a little different.

Thanks for the offer, but the vector is not for sale. I am putting a big blown motor in it and am just trying to sell this turbo motor to cover some of the cost. The motor is OBO... I am willing to entertain any offer. It is turn key and ready to run today.

Nice set up and good luck with sale. I am building a blower set up well and just do not have the back configuration for a turbo set up or I would heavily considered.

if Gary at GT PERFORMANCE built this motor its all good.I had same combination except with a race aero intercooler and it ran like clockwork.Never any problems.

Just got original 8 page build sheet from original owner of the boat. The motor was actually built by Brad Anderson. Received new Dart heads and JE pistons in 2004 during a complete rebuild. Solid piece... price reduced. Can send build sheet upon request.

Thats a hell of of a deal for someone G/T Brad anderson build some great stuff.Seems to me guys shy away from the turbos deals for some reason and choose the blower route. Ive had trouble free with mine since built very little maintance and the work well and quiet to boot ive never had mine over 5k and it pushes my deal in the teens at that rpm the motor is barely working

A buddy of mine turned me on to your motor listing. I have a 26' cat with a 540ci Warlock Performance Marine Motor that decided to toss a valve last season. Thinking a motor like yours might be a better solution than re-building my 540. You mentioned that Gary Teague freshened it up last year and that it was re-built in 2004. What was done on the freshen up and how many hours since that work and how many hours since the re-build. Also, what RPM range do you typically run this motor at and what is top RPM on it? In your video, when you're filming next to the right side of the engine, you can hear a very distinct ticking noise that sounds like valve train or lifter noise. Videos have a tendancy to pick up and exagerate some sounds, is this the case with the valve noise or does it have a lifter tick?

You're last posting said you really need to get this motor sold, I have cash in hand, what would be your get it out the door this weekend price and is the motor out of the boat or still in it right now? I would really want to hear it in person. Send me a private message please, thanks

That was Bill Davila's old boat wasnt it? I rode in that boat many years ago with that twin turbo motor. Was a fun boat.

I actually saw him not to long ago and he said guy was putting a blower motor in it.
