I have owned a few Mustangs in my life and if I ever get lucky enough to find a "65" fastback I would build it back to original. In high school I had a "64 1/2" mustang 2+2 which I crashed street racing. Worst day of my life! If I have to buy a "66" i would build a gt-350 clone. My pockets aren't deep enough to by an original. Second best (in my eye) would be a 1964 cobra, but the deep pocket thing steps back into play!M

The guy wants $200k for the one on the left (Concourse car) but I would rather drive the one on the right for sure.
Not a surprise most who don't appreciate the early muscle cars want the creature comfort of the "new" remakes of classics.

I might sell my 17 GT350 White/Blue stripes with electronic package. 13k miles, came with the Comfort seats but I also have the Recaro front seats. Car is flawless. The sound of the Flat Plane Crank V8 at 8200 RPM is insane! Bought a Tesla Model 3 Performance last month which is way faster to 60 and effortless and low CG handling....I struggle if I should keep the GT350.

What kind of price you looking at, I’m considering a 17 with 3k mikes and 20k in extras

My wife has the Model 3 long range, non-performance, and the list of cars I've beat is impressive. My wife smoked me in my Mustang, I beat a BMW 550m and my dad in his GT500.
I'm selling my Mustang after tax season and getting a Tesla for myself

Pulled the trigger today on a 2017, with now 3600 miles after being driven down to me from the Bay Area. Car has a ton of carbon including hood, rear deck, rims, misc pieces. Avalanche grey is the color. Love it do far. Went straight to Chemical Guys and got some product to keep it looking new.

Looks great. Love the color! Congrats
Have you removed your resonators, I’m thinking about replacing my x pipe with the Corsa double x pipe that removes resonators. Sounds great, not quiet as raspy as the R, but more than current

Mind saying what you had to give?
I’m have been poking around trying to decide between Gt350 and Zl1.

New PP2 cars are still selling in the mid to high 40's. Sounds like he has thrown like 8-10K at the car.

39K is a steal I think 45K is possible or I would part it for sure.

SOLD! Guy actually lives in the mid west but stays in Vegas for a few months out of the year. I was actually asking 43500 and he gave me 40k. Funny thing was he has a 2017 GT350 as a daily but wanted a good open track car. I also sold the Forgelines to a different buyer this weekend. Sad to see it go, but I just wasn't driving it. It sat and just took up room. I had the most fun just working on it.

Yeah, I probably had another 10k in to the car. I am great at taking big piles of money and making small piles. :D

Congrats. One of my favorite colors too! Looks like it has Signature Wheels on it. Those are like 4 to 5k for a set alone!

I put the Steeda X-pipe on my car and it was amazing even before headers. I did however have Active exhaust if I ever wanted to quiet everything down. The GT350s sound prob even better IMHO with the x-pipe. Many like the h-pipe sound better, but I thought the X was better. Plus they make 1 to 3hp more. Not a ton but it's something.

I did my own over at a friend's shop and never again. It was a kuckle breaking deal for sure and no fun whatsoever. We even did it on a lift and I thought it was a pain in the ass. Keep in mind I am no Ray Everham but I'm not completely incompetent. I heard most places will charge around a 1000.00 for an install which I would happily pay again If I needed to. I assume the 350 is a tough install as well.

I had this set up. I went with 1 7/8 as opposed to 2" as I would never need anything that radical on an NA engine. Honestly the stock headers are beautiful pieces themselves from the factory. Full tubular stainless. Not super high flow like the LTH, but still really nice. I would put the x-pipe on and call it a day. I just wanted a little more. :D

Keep an eye on the oil burn, I hear that has been a problem for some people. I don't think there is a GRADS light on the dash to tell you your low on oil, just says change oil soon.

Anyone kicking around the idea of selling their gt350? Im back and forth on either a gt350 or a c8 for my midlife “I need a sports car stage” lol. I havnt really followed much resale, but they seem pretty strong, but am curious if a few more used ones may be popping up w the gt500 and c8.
. I would consider selling my 2017. Has 2500 miles.
