So? I need a review.

I met a guy yesterday who had it. Said it was cool but wasn't mind blowing. It had that east coast malty feel to it.

It was really good, but like your buddy said, it wasn't mind blowing. I have had IPA's before that knock me off my feet and this wasn't one of them, to be honest. For a Double IPA, it was very well balanced and drank easy. The hop aroma was intense to say the least. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely put it in my top 5.

I am looking forward to trying the other one now and will let you know how that goes!

I don't think Green Flash bought them, I believe Alpine is using their facilities to produce more of their beers. They have been around awhile and have always had amazing IPA'S, like Duet, that flew under the radar for years. Once the demand increased they finally realized they could make money on their beer and they are now mass producing it. The quality has remained the same so far, so that is good!!

I just had a 1/28 brewed Pliny, then had a 2/08 Pliny. Difference was night and day.

This has been my go to lately, i go out of my way to find canned beer. It just tastes better than bottles if you aren't pouring them imo.

That ballast point sculpin is great also, it comes in cans as well :thumbup:

IMO Dales without question is one of the worst beers on the market!

This is good but spendy at $15 a 6 pack



This one was great but not mind blowing for the #1 rated IPA and #1 rated beer in the world.

Very nice and refreshing summer ale from Bells.

Wanted something to sip on this evening over dinner and dessert so went with this Almanac Heirloom Pumpkin. It is 50% Ale brewed with pumpkins and aged in rye and brandy barrels and 50% ale brewed with spices. 12% abv and enjoyed slightly warmed up. Definitely a sipper.
