We land at 1:25 this sunday and dinner at 7:30, drunk by 8:00!!
Kimos hands down our favorite spot for fun, atmosphere, drink and food. Lunch, happy hour our dinner doesnt get old.

When I get tired of fish the Kimo's Prime Rib... man it's good.

Fleetwood's had some really good appetizers last trip (April). BLT Brushcetta was awesome. The wife and I usually walk up the stairs with fingers crossed and the last few visits we've been able to sit right down.

Didn't make it to Merriman's last visit. Wife and I had our wedding reception there so every visit ends up feeling like a mini-anniversary.

I do the prime rib for dinner and a burger at lunch, in between long island ice teas.

We were there in April as well, kinda like it over there, but have never done fleetwoods, maybe need to change a couple things and give it a try

Thanks for the local uber tip we may need it. Our two boys are going, one is under age so he will be our designated driver for parts of the trip but cant expect him to spend his time carting us drunk folk around!

LAHAINA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Eyewitnesses described an apocalyptic scene Tuesday in Lahaina town, where residents were forced to jump into the harbor waters to avoid fast-moving flames from a massive brush fire that’s destroyed much of the historic area — and continues to burn.

Residents say an overwhelmed fire force — fighting flames all day amid powerful winds — could do little as flames ripped through the historic community, destroying dozens of homes and businesses in what onlookers believe is the worst natural disaster in Hawaii’s history since Hurricane Iniki.

Acting Gov. Sylvia Luke confirmed that the Hawaii National Guard had been activated to help respond to the sprawling fire crisis, which also includes other raging wildfires. The flames have forced thousands to their homes, and many aren’t sure what they’ll find when they return

My 16 year old daughter is there with a friend and her family. They took the road to Hana and are stuck near the ocean aquarium since last night. They waited in traffic for three hours only to find out the roads are closed trying to get back to Kaanapali. They had to sleep in the car and cannot get back. Really bad over there right now.

Ended up canceling the Maui trip and going Kona instead. Talking to people on island and it is a mess with people trying to get off island and or stuck in other areas. Also talked to a couple in Honolulu debating to go or not. They had two small children. After our conversation they decided to cancel and stay on Oahu. Should be interesting to see how bad things are after all fires are extinguished.

I was right there with her for 40 hours, after evacuating lahaina in the middle of the fire. waiting to see if my wife could get her and my parents bussed out of kaanapali. They made it out today we have relocated to kihei and will be leaving saturday, 2 weeks early
