I hope it can also run on diesel? Because where the f are you going to find that by the 10,000 gallons?
Double your tank number…… at least 20,000 gallons on that boat.

Thats the biggest Sportfisher I’ve ever seen………. And I have seen a lot of yachts!

How far could you go in that boat with 20,000 gallons?

Have a friend that went to Monaco for the Grand Prix last year. Him and his wife were invited to go on a yacht for a dinner party. He said the owner paid $20 million for it. He said it wasn’t the smallest one there, but maybe the oldest. Talk about being poor somewhere else.

That sportfisher is big. Wonder how much it will actually fish? Anthony Hsieh’s 144’ Trinity, Bad Company, was once the largest sportfisher in the world. It is currently a part of Anthony’s world wide fishing adventure. It is not for sale.

His fleet is on a different level! The big sportfisher is more of a mother ship to the actual sportfishers.

No way you’re slaying sail fish with these yachts. They’re more built for esthetics than chasing big game fish.

Absolutely stunning boats though.

I guess the big support vessel was there as well. Not sure if it was the old or new one.

From the MAN article I found, it appears the MAN 175D series CAN run on 100% Bio-fuel, or other percentages ---

Here's another MAN link to a PDF with more about the specific 20 cylinder 4,400KW 175D engines in Special One.

When it comes to helo ops, believe those are typically conducted on support vessels and not on the sportfishers. Although locally, Hsieh jumps from his helo and swims over to one of his sportfishers. Believe he did that this weekend during the War Hero’s on Water tournament for severely wounded vets. If interested, there’s an amazing video on IG of a young double leg amputee Vet pulling in about a 250 lb blue fin tuna this past weekend. He was fishing on Hsieh’s 92 ft Jones Goodell in So Cal waters.

I love a nice Sportfish and would have one in a min.

But this boat is too big for me as a sportfish because of proportion and looks. I'd rather a a really nice custom sportfish like a Rybovich (60'?) with a wood super structure. Then have a much prettier and better layout for use on a cool tri-deck like a 150' Palmer Johnson. And I would probably have money left over.

🤷‍♂️

I took these photos from my cousin’s Duffy when this boat was docked near her home on Linda Isle NPB CA. This is the 144’ Bad Company. Tuna and sailfish are not their usual targets. It’s billfish, marlin, striped, black and blue. This is a big boat. But it is built to fish and it can maneuver. And it’s done it. Although, as mentioned, it can also be used as a mothership for his smaller boats.

Exactly!! You aren’t backing down on a record size blue fin in that beast lol
I dunno, does the Excel or Red Rooster back down for Blue Fin or any fin really ?

But yes, I get your point if you're on a world tour seeking record size Blue Marlin on light tackle, it's unlikely you're going to be pulling his off.

Certainly more opulent living and cruising accommodations than "Madam" and I picture a day fishing the "Special One", more like Playboy themed fishing party where every fisherman goes home happy 🤣
