Sales guy said It won’t do 2 lane roads, also the highways are being updated constantly. I think it’ll be an awesome alternative when you just feel like chilling on the way!I would never trust it, number one, and number two, doesn’t it require certain approved highways/freeways/interstates to even use it?
It’s cool and futuristic, but leave the driving to me.
And hell no on using it while towing.
How can it tell what you’re looking at when you’re wearing sunglasses?Just got it a few weeks ago on my 24 Yukon Denali Ultimate. Yes. Love it. Changes lanes if you have it set that way. Super nice on the big highways.
Holds the line good . A little wanky when you pass an off ramp and the right lane disappears. It will hunt back for the line and waver alittle. It also watchs your eyes to make sure your looking forward. I was texting and was looking down too long and it caught me. I would do it again.
You have to pay for the service for super cruise to work?Just be ready to pay OnStar for the rest of the time you own the vehicle.

Question for those who've used it, can it tell if someone is coming up fast from behind in the fast lane before it changes lanes from the right lane to go around someone?
Like if someone is way back but coming up at 100mph its pretty easy for a human to see that and know not to change lanes until he flies by.
But would the computer just see how far back he is and change lanes causing the speeder to slow down?
Once your free, 3 year OnStar subscription runs out, yes.You have to pay for the service for super cruise to work?
wifes Q7 has a lite version of this. game changer on long trips. especially the adaptive cruise. you can adjust the gap b/w cars. on the tightest gapping its actually pretty close to car ahead. she does not like using it thoughI’m just wondering if it’s worth it? Has anyone had it long enough and use it enough to know the pros and cons? Seems like a total game changer driving to and from the river.
my '18 Ford Raptor has it, we've used it traveling to Havasu. I think it's like riding with a 16 yo driving. Lacks the experience to be predictive and proactive, is strictly reactive and I find that frustrating. It also on rare occasions is prone to what's referred to as "Unintended" deceleration.wifes Q7 has a lite version of this. game changer on long trips. especially the adaptive cruise. you can adjust the gap b/w cars. on the tightest gapping its actually pretty close to car ahead. she does not like using it though
How do you like the "R" ?My 18 Raptor did the same. Seemed most often when passing a semi on a sweeping right where it could not see past the semi. But other times too.
I stopped using it except on open desert roads where it seemed ok. 6 months now with my 23 Raptor R and it has not done it yet. But it was so random that who knows.
Probably a good thing the Raptor does not have the Ford Blue Cruise. I hope GM has it better figured out. If adaptive cruise has issues, no way in hell I'd use auto drive.
BTW, I also heard Newmar motorhome adaptive cruise would occasionally trigger on overpasses and slam on its brakes so I did not get that option.
The tech might not be ready for prime time.
