Well, I have polished the cheap plastic lens on these headlights and parking lights till they wont polish anymore. What product are you inmates using when you replace the OEM units? What companies/parts should I stay away from?

I found a whole set on Amazon from TYC collision for less than one GM branded headlight lens....

I bought new lenses last year from some online headlight company back east. Still look good and installed with no problems. Lot cheaper than OEM too. Can't remember the name of the company. Look on Amazon.

There's a shop by my house that refinish headlights. They have a 5 year warranty. They clear coat them after they polish them. Mine have been done for 2 years and still look new. $125 for the pair.

I used the Mcguires kit and then hit them with rattle can UV stable clear coat. Haven't fogged up since. That has been about 5 years now.

Thanks for the reminder, been meaning to get new headlights for a while. Under $100 for all 4 on an 04 Silverado.

My friend hit something with his Honda a while back and the shop installed aftermarket headlights but they were never able to line them up right. The beam would fall too short even with the adjustable bolt and you couldn't see shit at night. Took a few hours at home to shim it etc. and make it line up with the hood. YMMV
