I have friends that cannot be anywhere that is not occupied by thousands of other people. They want to camp on Hodge Road, they have to sit in the Channel in Havasu all day. Its very odd.

I know I am a hothead, so I just avoid these types of situations now a days.
We camp in Spangler or Dumont and no one around over the Horizon all directions.
Wake up and there's a RV next to us.
Wife thinks some people feel more secure that way. Safety in numbers.

Sometimes don't see anyone around the camping areas nor trails for days, not a soul around.
Then when the daughters or nieces show up suddenly guys ride up and need gas or air. The hills have eyes.

Always give gasoline if local kids ride up and ask for it for them to get home for good reasons too numerous to list.
