Had a blast! Killer weather, rained for a few hours Sat night, but that was perfect!! Can not wait for Thanksgiving!!!

Thanks for sharing the pics...haven't made the 1500 mile round trip to Glamis since 1994.
It was fun, but too far for us.

How cold was it? I saw you had some that braved the cold in tents. Did that once and it was hell. We all came home sick.

Did you guys go to the ceremony at the flag pole?

Most were about 20 - 30 sec exposures. I try and get the most out of it!

I did not even know there was a flag ceremony going on, which SUX! We were not even going to go till Thurs nite, and got a last sec call!


There were a family next to us, tenting it, but I WOULD NOT DO THAT AGAIN! At night it was in the upper 50's, but Sat night it rained for a few hours... which made the 2am run VERY NICE!!

GD.com swaps out the flag on the flag pole every year vets weekend. If your a vet, youll get called up, and they hand out some pretty cool stuff to you guys. Its a very moving event. :thumbsup
