Anyone know anything about these besides thay are piles of shit?

Mine in my toyhauler runs fine, but no power coming out if it. I've checked all the fuses and circut breakers, no problems seen. Any clue where to start trouble shooting?

Check your inverter it should have a reset button on it

Perfect, no problem, whats an inverter, and what does it look like??:D

If its anything like mine its gonna be located in a crawl space that you access from your main tunnel box. It looks like a big amplifier and will be mounted to an inner wall.

On mine there are 2 circuit breakers on the generator itself. Sometimes running both AC's one will trip.
Make sure Circuit breakers are good. Had one at home trip all the time. Replaced it, fixed the problem.

Inverter would be a huge option on most RV's and converts 12 volts to 120 volts. Does the OP have that option?

Converter is standard and is used to convert 120 volts to 12 volts to charge the batteries and operate all of the 12 volt lights, water pump, charging ports etc. while plugged into house power or generator operation.

Yeah, check breakers then perhaps the transfer switch if so equipped. If no transfer switch, make sure that the shore cord is plugged into the generator feed receptacle.

Happened to me once.
Their was a master breaker on the genny itself.
Had to feel around and it was in a hidden goofy hard to get at spot on the elect box on the Gen.

I forgot about this little detail once and it took me a good 1/2 hour to remember about it. It sucks getting old! :)

Lets start at the beginning...

Where are you checking for power?

Any of the 110v outlets, nothing works with the main genny running, everything works fine with the eu2000 running.

Do you have a transfer switch or do you manually plug and unplug you Gen for Shore Power?

There is or should be a small 30A breaker inside the housing on the Gen. The one in the electrical circuit box for the house power is redundant.

There must be an automatic transfer switch, i dont gave to plug into, or unplug any cable when i plug the trailer into the honda genny.

On the outside panel of the generac, yhere is a visable citcut breaker and fuse that are both good.

OK then you have a transfer switch and that could be your issue.

What that does is sense where the voltage is coming from. You plug in the power cord and you have 110 from say your house or rv park. If dry camping you start the gen and the magnetic switch senses the 110v from the Gen, throws the contacts (Internal Switch) and the gens power is now connected.

Your going to need to chase the gen output to the switch. Maybe there is a reset on it. It still could be the gen but Transfer switches do fail.

I used to work on these a lot when I had my shop. The voltage regulator is a cheap, common problem with these.

I had the same problem with mine a few years ago, turned out to be the brushes, it was a cheap fix but you have to take the unit out of the trailer to change them.
