And our electricity bill keeps going up every month! Can you imagine how much the electric bills will be when the Democrats get their way with all electric cars, heating, cooking, water heater, No AC or cieling fans and no additional power plants to support the increased demand. We don’t have enough electricity now. what could go wrong?

"Brandon" and His Band Of "Yahoo's" released just "3" Oil and Gas Permits for the Gulf. This is the fewest in History!! "Brandon", Keeping another Campaign Promise.
@530RL time for you to chime in that the President has absolutely nothing, not one iota, even a snippet of control over gasoline prices.

Please try to sound at least partially economically literate. You’ll probably need a week at a holiday inn express…but hey, you can do it champ!!!

LOL...I've talked to him about this topic. I will hold my ground and say that the President "influences" the market without a doubt by his words and actions. The oil industry loves the left and support them, why, because they make the most money when they are in power unless I am wrong.

When you threaten one of if not the worlds largest industry of complete destruction and takeover they have one and one choice, maximize profits! Personally they aren't going anywhere soon imo, the tech isn't and won't be there to meet the deadlines of the lefts radical Green New Deal.

Funny, the spin the left is desperately using about oil, when we'd not have our standard of living and countless products and industries without it.

Even with the 3 leases, that can really equate to 0. I've heard it said that the leases are only the starting point. From there, the oil companies need to start paying, but then there are still environmental tests and BS they need to pay for and pass before any equipment is moved.

The spin was the Permian running out of oil. The drillers have been drilling and capping wells 24/7 since 2017. In addition to producing the 40% of U.S. oil the Permian basin currently provides.

There continues to be exploration in the area, more discoveries continue to be found, the most recent, Yuge. Libs, lie.

There are obscene unseen $$ amounts of resources that go into exploration/development from mapping, survey, water power, geologists, to all the high tech sonar whatever IDEK, that remains unseen before the locations are cleared, roads pushed in, and all is made ready to go, long long before a derrick goes up and drilling operations begin.
Google maps here, there are those pads cleared, roads in all over. Everywhere. We have oil wells and cotton in the city limits. Smells like money.

Oxy just occupied a huge field office they built last year, and we don't even drill for oil up here in this area anymore. All the trucks there are backed in to every spot. Occidental Petroleum. Looks sharp.
Dad worked for Standard Oil. Still around too.
