Very cool shot, hope the kitty got his meal for all that effort. 👍
I've got 5 game cams up around my place, if I ever get a shot similar to that one, there will be a For Sale sign out front the next morning. 🤣
My wife will live with the almost nightly visits from Bucks, Does, Yotes, Bobcats, Coons, Skunks, quail, bunnies and even the occasional Rattlers, ---but one of those kitties, nope, we'll be moving to a 55 and over condo.

You like us are fortunate to live in that environment Rhonda and I have been facinated for years at the "habits" of the resident Deer herd , our area as one might imaging has regular Lion sightings because after all they are predators Right now they are bunching up

Those cats are like dynamite when they decide to get violent. My neighbor caught this little guy tippy toeing around his property just outside of SandPoint. If that guys back legs were straightened out he’d be 7ft. Tall.

Most vicinity sightings have been in or the areas closer to various area canyons. Always brings out the news and copters when one is spotted eyeballing the playground of an elementary school.

I don't subscribe, but I've heard that occasionally the "Next Door" site has reports. But considering the source is usually some 'Purse Puppy' lady, who demands hunters wipe out anything potentially dangerous to her little "Princess". So those sightings are questionable.

I've lived here for over 30 years, seen plenty of Bobcats, and the four yotes who hang in my grove nightly --- I joke that I provide the pack of the four water and avos, and in turn they provide grove security.
Their coats are so thick and shiny, I'm considering entering one in a local dog show. 🤣

Most all of us on this fringe of the hoards of civilization really enjoy the critters. I just hope the big cats remain down by the lake and river valley, that's where the much larger deer herds hang. In fact deer used to be a rather rare surprise up here, that is until these two Six Pointers developed a fancy for my wife's roses. I wish the fucks would eat avocados 🤣
I caught one on camera giving a fallen one a taste that a yote had already taken a few bites out of, but didn't seem impressed.

The only one I don't appreciate are the rattlers. I leave them alone up at our ranch or at Havasu, but here at home, if they get spotted, they're fucked.

I'm not a huge fan of hunting cats.... If they are getting into mischief that's different. That said, I hunt myself and am not actively complaining. just not my thing.

Random dogs and yotes on the other hand.... get lead poisoning. Shot at two yotes in the last month near my house.

I have a customer who hunts safari game and trophys everything for his office. I never understood it completely. He says the Leopard is the only cat he has hunted that came back around and hunted him. You could tell he didnt like it.

Personally, I'd be more inclined to shoot my neighbor's annoying dogs, or a few of the neighbors who own them, rather than any yote or cat. 😁
