Good looking 240. As for the engine I'd hazard a guess that it's a 502 or a 454 mag.

You might be right in 03.. I remember in 2001-2002 Hallett actually had pricing on their website and you could build a 270 with twin 350's for low 70's.

Seems that way with most of the used market. Some of the asking prices I see seem pretty steep. Maybe low inventory keeping the prices up???

I just recently saw a boat listed in Havasu for 14k more than it was listed for, out here in SoCal, last summer & I just laughed, because who ever overpays for it now could've saved themselves 14+k if they would've bought the boat last year. But it is amazing what 10-15yo boats in the 25-28ft range are selling for these days. As far as this Hallett 240 goes, I'm sure it will likely sell very fast, especially this time of the year.

This is exactly like the new 3/4 ton diesel truck prices people complain about. If a new truck is significantly more expensive, it starts pulling up the used market.

The only reason the used boat market is getting higher is because the new boat prices are so high. If a new 23-25 foot boat is $70K+, a used one for mid $30Ks is a deal if you can get financed or have cash. There also seems to be fewer and fewer used 23-25 foot boats for sale than there were just a few years ago.

I know I could sell my boat today for more than what I bought it for a couple years ago.

Do u think boats and all boating related products are more expensive in havasu , based solely on location???
