Unfortunately it's all across the board as same here with Wawanesa insurance based here in San Diego California. :(

If staying with Mercury I would have been at $4k with 2 drivers and 2 cars.

If AAA has better pricing they are abery good co. They've been great to us on the few things we have w/them for the past 25yrs.

I just left American Family, renewal went up 20%. The agent was honest and said wait to you see your home owners renewal. Went back to State Farm and the whole package was something like $1500 cheaper. ….home, umbrella, 3 cars.

all insurance carriers have taken or will take historic rate changes in the next couple month.

Make sure you match up all coverages, mileage and discounts. If you are comparing apples to oranges you could probably modify the current policy and save $$$.

Mercury has a AAA discount that will save a chunk. They also have a Costco and Sam’s club that will save a little if you don’t have AAA.

Look at the annual mileage and if it’s higher than it should be (really higher) snap a picture of the dash and email it you the agent and ask them to take a look.

It’s rough out there and home in CA is worse.

Insurance companies, like credit card companies don't care, there are only so many of them to do business with. They know that sooner or later you'll be back, making a big circle back to them. hate the game, but ya gotta play it.

Insurance is nothing but a fucking scam now days! They raise our prices astronomically, dont want to pay out even if we have never used the insurance before, or if we have used it once 5,10,15 or more years ago or longer. They make so much money on us it's not even funny!

Just got bill from State Farm. Just went to a 15 percent increase again on my home and my cars. So It looks like all insurance companies are fucking us again. It went 15 percent six month ago so basically 30 percent in 6 months ago. No claims for the past twenty years . 😡

Oh and just an fyi, if your late on a payment your policy is cancelled and will have to start on a new policy. This is what my agent informed me. New Cal insurance reg.ive never had a claim and called him pissed off. He explained to me it's not them. Told him they best be on top of it cause that'll make you lose one of the discounts.

For Those with Mercury and have permissive Drivers.. Liability if needed is not what you pay for . They lower it to a minimum.. Check your policies and if you don't want to go through the pages of small print.. Call the agent to confirm

May is our home owners policy renewal and it went up $1 dollar from last year $2046-2047.

3-4 years ago we got the 100% jump with no claims.

Our auto insurance is $2679 for two cars. My 2021 RAM and my wife's 2007 350Z. I guess I can't really bitch at all since we still have her DUI on her record for six more months. Just got renewed last month.

For years I've been waiting to get a break when the DUI drops off. I guess I'll just be happy if it doesn't go up.

Guess you haven’t been paying attention. All insurance is up. And if you cancel and you are in HFRA you will regret canceling. As you will likely not find coverage period.

My wife just broke the news to 1 of her clients today. Premium up 50k this year.

Must have missed the thread I posted a year ago. It has gotten predatory and there is no stopping it.
