I would like to think everyone here has had homegrown, fresh eggs before. There is very little to compare to at the grocery stores. These eggs take it one step further. They are true pasture based eggs. The hens all have to forage for their food. Grasses, bugs and all the goodness that huge compost piles can provide.

The family that raises these are true homesteaders and have been for 20+ years. They are more remote than anyone I know so distribution is always a problem for them. Amy and I come back to Havasu every Tuesday and have offered to bring 20 dozen per week with us.

Cost is $5.00 per dozen delivered to your door (in Havasu) every Tuesday.

PM me if you are interested for this coming Tuesday. They go FAST.

Chino may be far just for eggs but if you are ever in the area...

I buy 90 Omega 3 eggs at a time so I o my have to go once every 2-3 weeks.

Watch this

There's really a need for this? What's next? How to brew coffee? Why stop there. There has to be people in jeopardy of being hit by a car while crossing the street we need a tutorial on how to safely do that.

No words.

Don't get me wrong I've cooked all kinds of shit.. I never was a breakfast guy though (my whole life).. I usually eat lunch stuff for breakfast.. Sandwiches and the like.

As I'm getting older though, I find myself ordering more eggs / potatoes / bacon style dishes at the blackbear etc..

I got to be honest, in my opinion an egg is an egg. I've had farm fresh, I've had store bought, I've had a straight out of the chicken's ass egg before...They taste like an egg! Typically it's what you add to them or what you put them in that makes them delicious. I've never had a plain scrambled egg and said to myself "now that was a damn good egg".:rolleyes :D

WTF?

Can you cook bacon?

Cook the bacon, drain the grease, low to medium heat, crack the egg in the pan when it starts to firm up flip it over for ten seconds.

Egg in the hole is better.
Butter, then bread in the pan, punch a hole in the egg with any can out of the cupboard, egg into the hole. flip to toast the top .:thumbsup

Mir has more to do with what the chickens eat then how the eggs are developed I believe.

I'll let you know tomorrow if there's some big difference or not. I will say I like the idea that these eggs are legit organic and not what our government claims to be.. As well these eggs have the membrane still so you don't have to refrigerate them.
I don't know how to wash clothes. I can relate. [emoji3]

I don't do that either.. But I think I can figure it out.. Lol

That's how I was going to do it if I made the egg this am.. Lol

You'll notice a bright orange yolk instead of pale yellow.

I think it does taste more fresh per se but it's not some huge difference. The health benefits are good though.

We buy ones that are fed a diet that makes them high in Omega 3. We have eggs usually 6 days a week for breakfast so I dig the brain food.

Lots of different eggs out there. Farm fresh, backyard flock, Organic, Free Range, Cage Free- the list is extensive. All are better than the factory farm, lowest price version. Pasture raised is at the top of the list in nutrition and, in many peoples opinion, flavor. True pastured chickens have a diet that consist of grasses, seeds and insects. Chickens are omnivores and will gang up on a field mouse or occasional snake as well when raised on pasture. Real deal pastured eggs from an operation based on composting like this are rarely found in stores. I think Whole Foods and Sprouts offer a variety in the $8 to $9 range and I've been told they sell out pretty quick.

The health benefits alone are clear.

Taste will always be a personal matter, I'm not going to try and convince you otherwise. But, if you ever make it to Havasu, there will be two dozen of these things waiting for you try- no charge. :D

Look at the high beta-Carotine number. Must be why my yolks are so orange.
