Does anybody in Havasu know if they still sell R 12 freon in 30lb jugs ?

No, you can't buy it any more. Use this instead and study the method of charging and system requirements:

Or if you can change the compressor oil and flush the system,, you can use R134 with a compatible oil.
It won't work with the R12 oil.

You need a license to buy R12 and R22 even if you can find it.

You can go online and get the info and self test to get your cert to buy yourself
I believe it is a 609 cert

Recover it and use Freeze 12. Good stuff. 900 is a an ass raping rip off. I get it wholesale for 400.:thumbsup Last time I bought a 30lb of R12 it was 650.

If you don't mind using the 12 oz cans I have seen them on craigslist for sale quite often.

If you still have a R12 refrigerator it's time to replace it. Don't waste your time with the other replacements. The run hot and burn up compressors

I used Freeze 12 in my 87 Blazer and it worked great. You must have a good hook up on r12 the last time I sold it for 650.00 was in 2007

Yes, my jobber likes me and gives it to me for damn near cost from what I can figure, they also have an entire warehouse full of it that they stockpiled lol.

About 5-6 for 30lb of R12 in Texas. R12 will never go away its used a lot in aircraft A/C systems due to its quick/ cold cooling properties.
