I don’t have one their Toyhaulers but I do have a travel trailer by them.

Few issues at first and warranty work was a pain in the ass. So much so I just paid out of pocket for one of the repairs.

Since the first wave of issues it has been a good trailer. The fit and finish is nothing special but give. Given thevprice point they are worth a consideration.

We have a 2018 Sandstorm. We've had a few minor issues but it's been a great rig for us with a lot of use!

I have an 06 FR 34t toy hauler. No complaints. Had the same model but an 04 for 8 years. No complaints. They all have issues though. Water leaks where I live.
My buddy that works for a camper shop thinks both my rigs have been solid desirable units..

I have had 3- 1 bumper pull and 2 5th wheel toy haulers all Forest River. They were all good trailers with no major issues but all had issues. All 3 went back to the dealer at some point to address the issues. Some of the stuff the dealer addressed, some of the stuff it was just easier to handle it myself.

If you buy new, take it out and enjoy it for a few months. Take notes of the problems and take it in to get addressed.

Also to add ALL toy haulers have issues, not just FR.

I have an 04 23ft Cherokee Wolfpack toy hauler made by Forest River. Has a dove tail rear entrance. 15 years old and still solid, no complaints.
Forest River are a bit heavier than other toy haulers but that is where they get their sturdiness from. Well built IMO

I have an ‘08 Sierra that’s been great. Just a few fit and finish issues. Some of the electrical connections were loose from the factory and the furnace was left unplugged.

I just sold a 2011 FR Shockwave toyhauler. It was comfortable and the best laid out Toyhauler I could find at the time.

It worked well but there were a lot of things that they clearly cheaped out on. I had to replace a lot of things in the 3 years I owned it including the fridge.

We’re still on the fence what direction we’re going to go with on the replacement next summer but FR won’t be on the short list.

I think I have the same one. Kitchen pop out? All the way through storage in front??? Love mine so far. Only issue I’ve had is my generator and that’s on me for not running it in 8months.

Unless I’ve been outta the loop and somethings changed the rubber roof is DaKine’.
I won’t buy a rig without it.
Our Parker trailer is 20 now and the roof is holding up well.
The Kid is all for them.

It's listed as a 27 but is actually 30'6" not counting the tongue. Empty weight is 7400 lbs. The Tundra tows it good after I put on a TRD anti sway bar in the rear, but it would be better matched to a 3/4 ton truck. If I was going to buy another one I'd get a 24 or 25 foot model. No problem running 55-60 on all but the steepest grades.

I believe the kitchen pop out is the 28' footer. Except for the oven and microwave placement it's laid out exactly like the Genesis above.

I have a 2014 27' toyhauler with livingroom slide. It has been a solid unit but as expected each year there is maintenance and small repair that need to be made. Would buy another one.
