Big bend is located on the Parker strip. It is one park north of Echo Lodge or 12 miles north of the Parker dam/ bridge.

We have had the place about 7 years. Yes there is a beach there (actually two). The beach on the west side of the park is a great place for the kids. There is a roped off area for swimming but more importantly, because of the nature of the beach being tucked back, there is virtually no current. This has been a great place for the kids to swim and keep the parents a little more at ease.
