They are taking an Outerlimits 50' cat from the Golden Gsre bridge to Long Beach Ca starting early tomorrow morning. They expect to arrive at the Yard house around noon! Any and all inmates in the Long beach area are encourages to go down and meet up for lunch and beers and take some pics of them arriving for the site. :)

You will be able to track them via GPS here

Dave is this the same boat and group that was thinking of trying to break the San Diego to Cabo BC time record?

I believe that's next on the slate.. I have very little doubt they are going to crush everything they set their mind too barring any mechanical problems. Technology has come a long ways since the old records were set. In 1988 Race Boats weren't running 150 mph.. Now we have pleasure boats running 180-190 and beyond! (Includng this one)

Didn't Nigel Hook just update the record in October. San Fran to Long Beach. 9 hours 50 min. 48' Apisa.
If the the water conditions tomorrow are anything like they were today, they should be able to haul some butt. It was flat today.

the link above takes me to a web site that talks about tracking - but I do not see an area to log in.

Do you have to download a software package to make it work?

Also Im on my lap top - and only see downloads for ipad/ iphone ???

EDIT - its under live updates map on left side of screen.

At 6:55 they are still at the dock in Tiberon - I'm assuming "JRoutlaw" is the signal to watch

Looks like the phone app.. Which you have to pay for, is the one that gives you the Speed, time of travel, and etc. The computer page just shows you where they're at. GPS shows them at the dock now.

Is it just me, or does it look like they've stopped and then disappeared?

I was getting that as well, it seems as if it isn't updating right away. When I go back to the page, it'll show them in a different spot ...

They are either stopped or have a cell phone coverage issue if that matters in some way. Maybe 20 mi N or Santa Cruz.

I think it's a coverage issue because it just registered 140mph then back to 0

Haven't moved in maybe 7-8 min. I am thinking its a cell coverage issue as well.

I have to keep leaving the page and coming back to it. It won't update while I am looking at the page. :headscratch:

I had to do the same after a few initial updates.... I know it gets socked in with fog there, could that be the issue?
