Your hero will soon need to worry about the consequences of dropping the soap while showering.

LOL Swing and a miss.

Either Mueller and his team of prosecutors is incompetent, or there is another shoe to drop?

Well the passing of time has answered that question now, hasn't it?

WEDNESDAY 1/29/20
General Michael Flynn

“I did not lie to them."
“With those words in a declaration and supplemental motion filed Wednesday, former national security adviser Michael Flynn formally asked a federal judge for permission to withdraw his guilty plea for making false statements to two FBI agents in the White House back on Jan. 24, 2017.”

“In a sweeping argument that took aim at the bureau's "outrageous" conduct, Flynn's legal team highlighted a slew of information that has come to light since Flynn's plea -- including that no precise record of Flynn's statements to the agents exists and that the original handwritten FD-302 witness report from the interview is "missing," with subsequent versions later "edited" in some undisclosed manner by anti-Trump FBI officials”
Hmmm for some reason that specific evidence went missing. I wonder if our local Libturds think this was just some kind of clerical error or common mistake.

Barr Assigns Outside Prosecutor To Review Case Against Flynn

In addition to a review of the Flynn case, Barr has hired a handful of outside prosecutors to broadly review several other politically sensitive national-security cases in the US attorney's office in Washington, according to the Times sources.

Of particular interest will be cases overseen by now-unemployed former US attorney for DC, Jessie Liu, which includes actions against Stone, Flynn, the Awan brothers, James Wolfe and others. Notably, Wolfe was only sentenced to leaking a classified FISA warrant application to journalist and side-piece Ali Watkins of the New York Times - while prosecutors out of Liu's office threw the book at former Trump adviser Roger Stone - recommending 7-9 years in prison for process crimes.

Last month, U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan ordered Flynn's sentencing hearing canceled "until further order of the court," giving Flynn and federal prosecutors more time to submit filings on Flynn's request to withdraw his guilty plea, including claims he did not get sufficient legal assistance from his former legal team.

Also last month, Attorney General Bill Barr tapped Jeff Jensen, the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri, to review Flynn’s case. Jensen is working hand-in-hand with the lead prosecutor of Flynn’s case, an official said.

The case against Flynn, a former U.S. Army lieutenant general, has gone through years of twists and turns, with sentencing postponed repeatedly over the last two years. Flynn’s supporters have insisted he is innocent.

And all of this bullshit over a couple dates of phone conversations during the transition...

It should be blatantly obvious that this was the weaponization of the federal government against a political rival.

Amazing the cheering and lack of support for a 33 year military veteran.A General no less.I will always appreciate that RDP constantly provides a view of who & what among us everyday. The prosecution General Flynn has experienced for several years been a disgrace and embarrassment to the United States.Should have been sentenced or dismissed months ago.The Judge has postponed Sentence,WHY?

“New documents filed under seal in federal court include “exculpatory information” about former White House National Security Adviser LT.GENERAL MICHAEL FLYNN according to a report.”
“The documents were filed by the Justice Department on Friday and allegedly include “exonerating evidence” for Flynn, an FBI official familiar with the situation told The Federalist.”

I wonder if Comey and Brennan are sweating yet or if they knew exactly how to position themselves in order to not get prosecuted. I don't know how Comey can escape the responsibility of his signature being on the FISA warrants.
Will be such a great day when Flynn walks, I'm sure he will have A TON to say about the whole ordeal.

Under penalty of perjury, a felony, he admitted to the charges and pled guilty.

When was he telling the truth? Then or now?

Even a first year law student understands duress and the implications of having dirty cops put on the squeeze. Plea bargains under duress are null and void. Especially when you get the goods on the dirty cops.

If he was completely innocent yet lacked the sack to stand up to some FBI agents, we are all fortunate he was never in charge of America’s national security.

The cops were threatening to prosecute his son for some minor crap turned into a major issue...The reason the judge delayed sentencing is so Flynn would still have something hanging over his head to use as leverage, initially at the prosecutor's request, then the Judge began to see all the falsehoods involved in the political lynching of a dedicated Veteran, a COMBAT Veteran........ Hope he walks and is somehow made "whole" again financially...

Minor crap?

His son was accusing people of running a pedophile ring out of a pizza parlor basement where the pizza parlor didn’t even have a basement.

The result being some fruitcake showed up threatening to kill people with a long gun and discharged his weapon.

These people are all crazy and have no business having significant responsibility for our Nation’s liberty, safety and security.

The job of a prosecutor is to find someone guilty, not to find the guilty person;). When Flynn found out he had a lousy defense team that even advising him to plead guilty, it was already too late for him, and lost everything by then. Hopefully, he can re-gain what he lost by suing all who were involved in the entrapment scenario against him.

As a true gentleman, when his family faced retribution and his legal team which was in the tank advised to take a deal, he made what he considered, the selfless way out and the way to protect his kids. It’s innate for those with a soul. I fully understand you have no concept of this or why it would happen.

Flynn's credible fear of illegal prosecution by the government drove his decision to commit perjury, a situation which has a long history of occurrence in the American legal system, and as such, it's ridiculous to believe he would ever be charged and convicted of that crime.

According to the filing by Flynn's legal team, it is a fact the government withheld exculpatory evidence regarding his prosecution, a violation of the defendant's due process rights under the 1963 Brady vs. Maryland Supreme Court decision.

I would normally say your willingness to ignore the illegal actions by the government and instead impugn Flynn's character and motives while he was under illegal duress is curious. However, I will not, since your actions are consistent with your long time behavior of ignoring obvious facts and truths concerning abuses and coverups by the political opponents of the president.

Brady disclosure consists of exculpatory or impeaching information and evidence that is material to the guilt or innocence or to the punishment of a defendant. The term comes from the 1963 U.S. Supreme Court case Brady v. Maryland, in which the Supreme Court ruled that suppression by the prosecution of evidence favorable to a defendant who has requested it violates due process.

Following Brady, the prosecutor must disclose evidence or information that would prove the innocence of the defendant or would enable the defense to more effectively impeach the credibility of government witnesses. Evidence that would serve to reduce the defendant's sentence must also be disclosed by the prosecution.

Dont include me in "we".
The man served our country honorably for more than three decades.
I'd like to see how plumb you'd hang in the same situation as he was put in. Bankrupted and they threatened put his son in prison for more conjured up bullshit "crimes" to pressure him. It's called coercion and duress. You know this though.
You aren't even fit to shine his jump boots son.

So did you go to that pizza parlor in person and check for the existence of a basement? Can we see your verification of that?
The result being some fruitcake showed up threatening to kill people with a long gun and discharged his weapon.
You mean the fruitcake crisis actor that is listed on IMDb? That fruitcake? The one that fired one round (from the EEEVIIIIL AR-15 naturally) that magically took out that sick fuck
Alefantis's hard drive?
How convenient.
Keep guzzling the koolaid dude.
