Flew into the Havasu for the first time. Easy flight from Camarillo. I could get used to that.
That will burn 5 and 1/2 to 6 gallons per hour depending on how he likes to fly.Living my dream. 300 mile in just over 2 hours.
The DA40 looks pretty slick. What’s the fuel burn on that plane? Bet it’s pretty efficient.

It burns 8 to 9 and hour at 65% cruise power.
The diesel versions have the lower burn rate you point out but are much pricier.
