Didn’t hear anything about this one;
Well... I suppose it really isn't a float plane after all...
I think that's what happened. The windscreen is busted in.In the 4th picture the wheels appear to be in the deployed position. One would expect them to be in the retracted position until they got it to the launch ramp to haul it up?
In amphibious planes, you typically only get one wheel deployed landing if on water.
Would you feel the wheels dragging at first? Or is it an instant “oh shit” moment?I think that's what happened. The windscreen is busted in.
It's worse, OH FUCK!Would you feel the wheels dragging at first? Or is it an instant “oh shit” moment?

I thinks its cool sitting up there. Grandkids love it.I wish someone would drag that POS down at the springs to the middle of the lake and put it out of its misery.
I was kinda hoping that was going to be the situation.
That is exactly what happened to him.
A Twin Beech was the first plane I ever flew in. I was in a car seat and me and my 4 brothers , mom and dad. Dad flew tail dragged bombers in ww2 so it was no sweat for him. Don't remember a thing about, just saw a photoI wish someone would drag that POS down at the springs to the middle of the lake and put it out of its misery.

I don’t know him. Really sucks. Gear down is never good. Glad they’re ok.No doubt the pilot a friend of Bully. Damn shame something went wrong.
Those guys enjoy flying Havasu & Parker.
Why? Because he possibly made a mistake? Isn't that what insurance is for? To help offset the loss of a potential human error?insurance is gonna tell him to fk off
