I’ve noticed the same smell. Do you tow unlimited (miles and speed)? I’ve heard different thoughts on this.

I drive like it aint back there. Don't feel it braking at all. Only a few hills slow me down. I'm a 400ISL Cummins so I'm down on power. I was surprised at the ease of towing a large truck.

As to trailers and dolly's. One of the RV magazines did a study. People tend to NOT use their tow vehicles when traveling because of the loading and unloading. Flat towing isn't that way. The modern tow bars make it easy to hook up and get rolling.

Same moho tows 4 different vehicles in the last 15 years.
Tow dolly with Toy Matrix, I didn't take any photo sine it was only 2 trips.

I then change the towed to Dodge Caravan, still tow dolly

I changed to flat tow Jeep after sold the Dodge Van

I am now flat tow the Toyota Tundra but i have to R/R the drive shaft. It took about 20 minutes each time.

Motorhome magazine has an annual guide that states what each vehicle takes to flat tow behind a coach they have a rating system to pick the best for each year.

You might be able to google years past or maybe call for last years guide.... they also have a quick disconnect drive shaft for some vehicles if it’s not 4wd. Frt wheel drive car you can used a tow dolly and drive the Frt wheels up on a mini trailer/dolly, electric brakes work good with this set up.

I flat towed my 2005 jeep wrangler unlimited rubicon, I didn’t even know it was there.

Bought diesel pusher and guy was towing a Jeep Wrangler,He’s giving me the tow bar. Not sure wife’s up for the ride of wrangler anyone have other options they tow. Was thinking Grand Cherokee, but heard it has to have special transfer case ? Anyone have options or suggestions

Why don't you just let her ride in the motorhome?
